Interior Fuse Box?

I don't want to install my Radar Detector in the top of the windshield. I want it on the lower part by the A/C and I thought I was supposed to take out the panel left of the driver to reach a fuse box but I'm not sure if that is and I don't want to take out a panel that can't be taken out.

I can't seem to find the interior fuse panel. I see what may be the interior fuse panel access box (looks like a small fuse box of sorts) that's just in front of the hood lever but I'm at a loss on how to hard wire some devices internally.

There is a place you can tap into under the driver's side, up under the dash a bit. Kind of hard to see but it is in there. It is where we tapped into for the sill plates.

Don't believe there's actually an interior fuse panel. I have a RD mounted with https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1, and I have it powered through the power plug in the console. If you want, you can hardwire your RD high using this tutorial http://www.camaro6.com/forums/showthread.php?t=440254; I have my dashcam powered that way.
Don't know about the location under the driver's side - you'd have to make sure it meets your needs (eg is on only when ignition is on).

Is that the one I saw right by the hood lever? If that's a fuse box I'm gonna have to check it out. Doesn't seem like anyone on the Internet has used it and documented it so no results in my search.

I actually looked at those links prior to posting but noticed that no one hid the wire in a way that would work for me because I want my RD to be closer to the dash. I could run my RD wire along the bottom of the windshield along the driver's side trim up to the panel and then install it there but that's not my preference. It may be my last result though.

Look up the install instructions for the sill plates. And, no, it is farther under the dash.

I saw those while exploring and found the pdf. I'm supposed to put the red cable into the 1st port of the BCM connector then?

I cannot remember which we tapped into. Where we tapped into it fades in and out for the lighting. So that particular spot would not be appropriate. However, there should be other hot aux spots.

I'm not familiar with the Valentine 1, but I figured you were just looking for a switched 12v line located under the dash. That is what is being pointed out in the post, just splice into the green and purple wire coming from the black connecter under the drivers side dash.

I thought the V1 power plug has a 'main' port for the RD and an 'acc' port that would work for the Bluetooth connector?

It does. The power plug splits into a red stripped wire and a black ground wire with two prongs.
