Where will you be putting you front license plate?

Just as the title says, I am not sure where to put the front license plate. On the grill, it is definitely going to affect the airflow.. So are you putting holes into your bumper?

I was thinking about having a copy of my license plate made on a reflective vinyl sticker. I'm sure it's not 100% legal, but other then the state inspection I doubt I'll have any trouble.

I am not putting it on at all. I had my 2013 Camaro without it and never once got stopped. Also, if you leave your registration in the window for the first year (the paper the dealer puts on when you buy it) they can't require you to put it on.

Yes it's the law, but they hardly pull anyone over for it unless your being a jackass driver or just a ass hat in general.

I didn't have a front plate on my 5th gen (2 years of ownership) or my 4th gen (5 years of ownership) and I was never pulled over for it.

I will not be putting a front plate on this car either

I decided to leave my front plate off after a car show. I was on the highway traveling 7 over, get pulled over by state patrol, whatever, gives me a warning for the plate ticket for 5 over at $25. Two weeks later I get pulled over by a rookie in my town. I know this because my mom works dispatch and got the call. I was just leisurely driving around with my dad. My dad thought it's stupid too. It's a $10 ticket, just got a warning. I drove around for several months without issues. I put my jacfab bracket back on because I didn't want to deal with cops pulling me over.

I'm leaving the OEM off, if jacfab comes out with a nice option that does hurt the bumper I'll get that.

I'll probably keep it somewhere in the car, so if I park downtown, I can put it in the window. From my experience, only meter maids ticket for no front license plate here.

If I were you and being from where you at , I would intead of the plate on the window , I would put a few (peace ) branches from that now legal plant in your state , that would take care off that ticket maid lady !

It is the law in CA and I believe the fine is about $100 however, I've had 5 Corvettes and never put the plate on the front. I've also never been stopped. My new Camaro will not get a plate either.

I got pulled over about a year ago in my 2012 for this. I was told by the officer who wrote me a warning ticket that he was part of a 'No front plate Task Force".

I picked up a Jackfab for the 2012, and would do so again for the 2016 in a minute.

No front plate will be going on my Camaro. I'll deal with the ticket if I get one, but my 2010 and 2011 didn't have front plates and I never had an issue.

It's not $100. It's a fix-it ticket. Most places $25, reduced to like $15 if you show you installed it.

I honestly don't mind it. Plus I have personalized plates that I'd prefer to be displayed.

The dealer does not drill the holes for the front license plate into our beautiful cars right? I prefer not to have one in the front and will risk a ticket for it.
