The Camaro is still showing 4300. Keep in mind this GM Tracking system is not updated that often and it's just a rough process of everything. It's not like they track things like ups or fedex. What we are being told it's on a rail. They may need to change rails in the process sometimes. So we are hearing it should be in Maryland off the rail at the end of this week and in the parking lot. Then it's parked at the end of the lot, being sold the goal is to undig it though the lot to the front. ( no road going down the middle ) Then to have it ready to ship from the lot to a truck to bring it here. The goal is 72 hours once it hit's Maryland. But GM can hold it for inspection. If they do, then the time line is when they decide to release it. ( most cases on a sold unit it is 5 days or less )

So it's sound like you should be driving it next week some time. I wish I could give you a exact day, but the information goes not come that exact to us.

That is such BS...if it is on rail it should have rail car info. Sounds like your dealer is not looking correctly in Workbench at the statuses. I would trust Becky in a heartbeat. Ask him/her to do a screen shot of workbench with the status codes and history, we can figure it out here.

4B00 to 4200 w/rail autorack # to 4800 unloaded at rail yard to 4B00 to 4200 on truck hauler heaing toward dealership.

That is the most straightforward path but as we have seen these can bounce around, but overall the above is the pattern.

Dealers can see events of their own orders the same day, sometimes the same hour, those events are entered. Becky can see them the next day after the overnight download to the master server.

So it seems like I should have an auto track # then.. And exactly, if Becky and Chev chat are technically seeing the code from yesterday, he definitely should at least be showing the same code..

You know what, I actually just typed him up a response and a response here, but neither of that is going to speed up the process and he seems confident that it's definitely going to be here by the end of next week and his manager said the same a couple days ago. On Friday I am going to check with Chev chat and Becky then see if he confirms the same code and I'll get rail car or some other form of more information (possibly workbench screenshot) to post back then.

I would bust his chops, you are spending a lot of money, 2 mins of his time to send you a screen shot should be no big deal, I woud get the screen shot today if I were you.

The event history Chevy Chat AND Becky can see does NOT show the rail car number. The event history your dealer and your regional dealer business center look at will show it if the build has been loaded.

I hear what you're saying and you're right, but actually having a fantastic dealer for once who is almost as good as Becky I don't want to rub him the wrong way especially since I still need to fight for a decent trade in price haha.

And I know that laborsmith, but the fact that Chevy Chat and Becky showed 4200, but my dealer shows 4300 is a little fishy, but that's why I went to him asking for that info. The vibe tells me its def on its way here so, in a couple days I should have some new news.

Like I promised, the Friday update! My dealer actually emailed me without me asking too.

Almost here!!!!!!!!! Work over the weekend though so might not be able to get it for a couple days:( As per my dealer:

Your Camaro is in Maryland of yesterday ( sounded like late in the day). Waiting to be loaded on a truck to come here. So it could be between today to Monday we see it here.

Awesome! I see you are getting a 2LT, wonder if your scooted by the QC issues and just SS cars are affected.

Didn't notice you ordered an LT too. This whole process was a joke. I woulda been completely fine waiting for all you 10/12's to get yours first the way it SHOULD BE. The good part is though once you hit the next codes you're going to roll right through them all and have your car in 1-2 weeks but still that's already end of December! If I were you guys I'd keep an eye out for the dealerships that may get a very similar customization you ordered, because a bunch are starting to show in transit all over and I can't see ALL of those being customer orders.

Well I am going to keep checking OnStar to see where the car really is and hope is truly is moving to me and not some other lot to be held for who knows when!

Mine is at 4800 now. I imagine it will be at the dealer in a few days. I won't be able to pick it up until a week from now though.
