I think only the 4 cylinder and 8 cylinder cars have ANC. It's all about being able to tolerate the noise from low cruising rpm. The v6 must not have as much unwanted noise. All manufacturers are trying to find ways to let cars cruise at lower rpm to improve fuel economy. The drivetrain rumble is often a problem at those low engine speeds.
I notice i can pretty easily cruise my V8 at 1100 rpm, and I can feel the rumble. One of these days I will pull the amplifier fuse and see just how loud the noise is.

On my 2017 non-Bose, If I use the ******** harness and something like the Basslink or Rockford powered sub, I would just hookup to the high level inputs? Is that the best signal to use for a powered sub enclosure? Does my SS have the exhaust tone and noise canceling features?
