Question for those with either BMR Lockout or GM Solid bushings

Just curious why you went with those rather than the Polyurethane or Delrin? I know i want to mod mine to help get rid of the rear sway on acceleration. I don't track the car, but do plan to hit the drag strip a couple times. Wondering if i need to go to the extreme of solid or lockout? Any negatives to running those on the street?

Mainly ease of installation. Solid bushings are a labor-intensive installation. I've ordered the BMR lockout kit, just waiting to install. Plus it can be easily reversible.

So, why the lockout kit vs Polyurethane or Delrin?

Have you read anything about BMRs lockout kit? It has Delrin bushing inserts.

Way way way simpler to install. I think only a few people have replaced the whole bushings as a DIY. The rest have paid a dealer approx. $1million or a performance shop $alot for the labor.

I went with the GM kit because it was OEM and made for the cradle. I didn't want any potential issues or noises.

It was indeed a labor intensive process and I didn't want to have any issues that would cause me to have to go back into the surgery again.

or you can always do the oem gm aluminum ones in the zl1 1le haha
