Mine was the rear npp valve when closed. I could hear it in cold starts and upon acceleration and occasionally on decel. They replaced my entire NPP catback to fix it

The noise on mine can be heard open or closed.

NOT YOU TOO!!! It's easily been over a dozen people who've encountered this issue just in the forms.. There's something going on here and I'm sure there will be some fix eventually.

I have my fuse pulled and haven't put it back in to diagnose if the noise goes away when it's back in (chalk one up for laziness), but the noise is rear passenger. It's not a non stop loud rattle like some have shared, but it's an occasional light rattle/clicking noise that's very distinct if it's quiet in the cabin and you're listening for it.

I've actually brought it in regarding this and a couple other questions a month ago and they blew it off like it was nothing (stuck dealing with a dealership who didn't sell me the car because they're closer and they've been a trip already). Something in the update that day also had to throw off my transmission shift, but I've already made a thread on that.

My guess would be the NPP flap isn't secured down tight enough because it seems to be flapping in the wind. Oh, and when it is windy I've noticed it's much more frequent. Upon hard acceleration it goes unnoticed I assume because the exhaust is pushing it open. Keep us updated!

I also have this passenger side NPP valve vibration issue, still haven't taken it in but it is definitely a common problem as at least a dozen or so people have posted about having this issue.

Idk, I expected a few 1st yr issues, but wow! There are ALOT. Chevrolet should have kept building the camaro in Oshawa. They were top notch in that plant.

Well my dealership has known about my noise for three weeks. They say they have contacted GM about the issue, but have yet to hear back a solution.

It's the exhaust.

Horrible rattle from my active exhaust. Dealer is aware. Chevy is aware. No fix. Happens at cold start. Happens in Track Mode easily. Sounds like a tin can is behind your car. Seems to be within the muffler or by the valve actuators.

Marking this as another reason I am glad I decided to not get NPP and wait for the Borla Gods to deliver divine exhaust notes to me. Vote Real Exhaust 2016!

Passenger side NPP rattle

Appeared immediately. Rattle. Soda can dragging. Rice rockety sound. Dealer could replicate but factory state no fix.

Corporate has been in contact with me intimately regarding this issue. I suggest you contact them and push hard for a fix. No ones V8 should sound like that.
