Vitesse Motorsports throttle controller review - UPDATED
Purchased this Tuesday...unfortunately I have not gotten it yet :-(
I will be taking pictures and videos and review of it. Hopefully it's shipped,...I haven't gotten an email with any kind of tracking number yet. Stay tuned! Last edited by ussj4brolli; 02-02-2016 at 04:52 PM. |

AWESOME!!!!!!!
Ok so i have had my controller for about a week or so now, and i LOVE it! This thing brings you ALL of the throttle response you expect when you press on the GO peddle (for a V6).

So here's the million dollar question... Does it eliminate the AFM you feel when the car goes from V4->V6??? You know that little break when it shudders the transmission and car a bit. I'm fed up with it and if this eliminates it I'd go with this over a AFM disabler that runs the same price and isn't half as fun. Thanks!

Not sure how long you've had yours for, but I'm almost 6k miles and while I didn't notice it in the beginning, after a while you'll really start to notice it and it may drive you crazy like it does me. It's really noticeable when coasting downhill then approaching a hill where you start to give it gas. Hopefully yours stays smooth; once you notice it you won't "un-notice" it. Sort of the same thing as seeing a chip on your paint, you'll aways see it.

i just watched your video on youtube. i am still confused as to exactly how worth it it is to get this device. is it tricking the car into thinking that 20% throttle is say 60%? or is it just changing how fast the car reacts to throttle input? i dont understand how exactly this device can cange how fast the throttle body reacts.is it just boosing the signal?

All it does is sample the pedal position voltage and outputs a higher voltage to the ECM making the ECM think you pushed the pedal further than you did. You lose more dynamic range of the pedal each time you bump the setting on the box.
You are not in anyway changing the throttle response of the engine. The box just simply can't do that. |

With the mod, your now moving with a normal stoke on your end(Red), but the mods is now creating a larger movement to the computer in the same duration(green) i would guess. Last edited by HyperBlue16; 03-23-2016 at 03:29 PM. |

right so it thinks 20% throttle is 40% meaning as an example so lets say so when you get to 80 it thinks its at 100% so 80 to 100 is a dead spot. i think ill put the 200 on something like a custom exhaust and dyno tune
