I let my father in law drive it, he is 6'4 and about 270lbs and he drove it extremely comfortably as well.

I have not hit the 1-4 gear lock yet, it only pops up on my HUD saying "1-4 suggested for better fuel economy" and also... Especially for people who do complain about the SS not having BUCKET seats. One thing no one knew that I figured out/realized is that you do NOT need it. Why? Seat belts actually lock up when under load on straights as well as when you are turning.

I was always a simple guy when it came to the bells and whistles of a car. I love my manual operating seats, can always use my phone for navi but man... 2SS is making me uber lazy with all the bells and whistles!!!

When you go into reverse gear, mirrors automatically tilt way down so you can see the curb and when you couple that with the back up camera w/ lines... Damn. One thing I do wish I got was the front facing camera. Driving sedans all my life, god damn the hood seems to go on forever. New 2016 c7s do have it so I BET the next Camaro that comes out will have it OR it'll be an option.

The weight part, I should be able to do it sometime this week but the time slip one won't happen any time soon due to break - in AND I've only done 2 1/4 mile runs LOL. I would be like the WORST driver to give you guys the #s lol. Just wanted to do a quick review of things I am figuring out!
This is awesome thanks for sharing

Tr6,

Did you have any idea that your car might be there waiting for you?

Any clues that kinda went off in your head to say, damn, there might be a chance I will get my car this weekend?

This IS your freaking fairy tale, man!

Like, I said in my previous post, I think I have watched that video of you, danica and AL OP. at least a dozen times!

Congrats, again dude!!

Haha, thank you! The whole thing was a bit shady to tell you the truth. Michael @ Huffines called me "Congratz Turk! We are flying you + 1 down to be a VIP for the Xfinity race @ Texas Motor Speedway!" was when I first heard about it. Honestly, if it was someone I didn't know... I would've just laughed and said haha yeah sure, right and hung up.

Something was fishy but had no idea WHAT. Michael only got us a 1 way trip down and said he will be working on hotel reservations and our return flight but there was an issue of not being able to find a hotel nor a flight back. When he said that my buddy and I on gchat went on expedia and started looking... "HOW THE HELL CAN HE NOT DO BOTH????!!!" I mean it is Dallas, a gagilian hotels were available and there were 3 flights back. No Southwest flights though which is what Michael did say, so he didn't truly lie lol. He picked us up and everything, during the day I asked if he was able to do get our trip scheduled, he said the guys at the dealership are almost done. LOL.

We did THINK about my vehicle being @ the dealership BUT, thanks to Becky and her checking my status EVERYDAY... It was still 3800. Takes 2-3 weeks for delivery... So all my hopes and dreams were CRUSHED. Little did I know that Chevy @ the Factory made sure my vehicle was taken OUT of the system and so it did not update at all after 3800. I asked Becky yesterday and she checked. It was still 3800, and the car is in my garage LOL. Chevy individually shipped my vehicle in an UNMARKED semi en closed trailer down to Lewisville, TX all the way from the plant floor. I drove by the freaking trailer with my car in it when we first got there that morning! Didn't have a clue.

Plus the whole day starting in the morning after we landed and got picked up with a brand new Suburban started becoming dream... Then got to meet with Chevy higher ups and of course Tom P and AO and hung out with em all day long... So me even thinking SLIGHTLY about MY car wasn't even a question. I was already in a different world lol.

Yes wheel info for 18" winter packages would be great.
Living just a little ways north of Tr6, I know that last year they got more snow down there than I did up north.

I bet he will be getting a winter set up soon.

How are they going to step up when Chevy won't let them measure?

Is the owners manual the same? How does the npp sound to you really? Does it sound similar to aftermarket? Can you turn leds front markers off? How long to learn the infotainment system? I was struggling on the tour

Is this what you guys are looking for? Sorry if it's not I live in CA and have no need for a second set so I am not sure exactly what measurements you need.

The "event" i mentioned earlier is that I got contact by Chevy Communications, whom were also the brainchild of this whole weekend. Their marketing division to be exact and they will be featuring me as well as the vehicle for their quarterly magazine release. There will be a quick phone and email interview with me. I do not have any dates or anything yet I have just been contacted by the journalist. I'll post it up whenever we get the ball rolling more!

I am LOVING the fact that I own my own business, so I always set my own hours. Since the weekend though, not only do I have work stuff but also the whole media stuff too which is keeping me busy haha. It's the FANTASTIC busy type though, not the "I want to finish 20 bottles of jack" type.

Funny thing about resale... I was going to be driving this vehicle for about 2-3 years and upgrade to a ZL1 (if they even make it lol). But that went out the window, I just don't see myself getting rid of this car. This is a COLLECTORS car now, it won't be garage queened as I firmly believe on DRIVING cars. I am however... about to buy a used Malibu from Huffiness Chevy as a beater this weekend LOL.
I am really glad to hear that the beast will be unleashed rather than tamed... I seriously wish I was anywhere near where you live... I would have literally pleaded you to let me take the passenger seat while you drive it...

Tr6,

I have just watched your video for the 20th time.

When Danica Patrick took you for a couple of 1/4 mile runs in your new car your facial expressions are priceless. 0-60 in 4.1 seconds. We all know its a fast car from what we've read so far. But to actually be a passenger in your own car and have her drive it AND make a couple of quick runs. I mean, damn! That SS model is FAST!!!

What was that like?

My Link is real easy. It is done very nice in my opinion, actually easier to use than CUE on Cadillacs. The DIC was a little confusing with the themes and screens, nothing I can't figure out in more than a couple of days.
