I have finally have setup and played with all the goodies that the 2SS has. Set up my gauges, infotainment system, XM/Radio stuff, memory seats SAVED to both driving and exit. I have realized that my driving position is NOT the lowest height and it's crazy how spacious and much bigger guys than I can drive this car. I let my father in law drive it, he is 6'4 and about 270lbs and he drove it extremely comfortably as well.

I have not hit the 1-4 gear lock yet, it only pops up on my HUD saying "1-4 suggested for better fuel economy" and also... Especially for people who do complain about the SS not having BUCKET seats. One thing no one knew that I figured out/realized is that you do NOT need it. Why? Seat belts actually lock up when under load on straights as well as when you are turning.

I was always a simple guy when it came to the bells and whistles of a car. I love my manual operating seats, can always use my phone for navi but man... 2SS is making me uber lazy with all the bells and whistles!!!

When you go into reverse gear, mirrors automatically tilt way down so you can see the curb and when you couple that with the back up camera w/ lines... Damn. One thing I do wish I got was the front facing camera. Driving sedans all my life, god damn the hood seems to go on forever. New 2016 c7s do have it so I BET the next Camaro that comes out will have it OR it'll be an option.

The weight part, I should be able to do it sometime this week but the time slip one won't happen any time soon due to break - in AND I've only done 2 1/4 mile runs LOL. I would be like the WORST driver to give you guys the #s lol. Just wanted to do a quick review of things I am figuring out!

the two things that I absolutely liked about your review:
1. MPG is better
2. I didnt know the side view mirrosgo down when in reverse... thats a very neat feature that I have seen only in BMW, since my friend has it.

Info like this... makes me go crazy waiting for mine.. although I will not have the mirror thing in 1SS

Well that is awesome. I hope my 1SS has it as well.

Of course, with the backup Camera, it probably wouldn't be needed anymore, but I just keep thinking about my 2010, which didn't have a backup camera or even backup sensors. My side mirrors were adjusted for my highway driving (way out to side...could not see behind me in them unless I leaned way over)...this feature would have made backup up much easier!

That's great news about the reverse tilting mirrors. That's the one reason in my current car why I don't have my mirrors adjusted as far out as they should be to cover the blind spots.

When you combine the mirrors with the backup camera AND sensor it truly becomes crazy. This car is making me uber lazy while driving BUT it is a really good thing because the infotainment system actually READS the text messages to me and allows me to reply to them without touching the phone.

I was thinking the same thing. Collector car written all over this thing haha...literally. You have all the documentation/photo's/video/signature in the glovebox/optioned out 2ss/1st customer car of a new generation.

All the things that could make this an extremely valuable & collectible car in 20+ years.

Might want to turn this into a garage queen and just take it out on weekends in fair weather.
