They do a pretty decent job at that, too. Better than I could do and I halfway know what I'm doing.

On the flip side of the coin, I could see GM telling the Big 5 "If you happen to get your hands on a GT500 and want to borrow a ZL1 / ZLE, you know where to find us".
I would gladly loan them my ZL1 if they provided transportation of the car and accommodations for myself. LOL!!

Either way the GT500 will look bad. I don't see any way it comes out from these testings with a win.

As far as the ZL1 against the C8 I am not sure about a full second. But I would think the ZL1 would have the same advantages as the GT500 even if not as much. Interesting thought tho.

I do think the ZL1 has pulled more LGs in testing tho.

He likes to poke at people online just to get a reaction. And he and Jelena both can drive though and know a good bit about racing. Respect. I hope to get back to Atco next spring with a Camaro. My Rav4 wins only the first 25 feet against those auto coyotes, especially the low 10 second ones.
I'm sure he is a decent fella in real life. However there is no denying that in here he became a troll and got worse and worse as time went on. I stopped replying to him figuring that he had something against me personally. I figured if I didn't reply back then he'd act normal. But even that didn't work. He kept quoting my posts trying to goad me into a fight. When that didn't work he went right to someone else and carried M6G BS over here. Look at his comments from the past 2 weeks. 90% is trash talk. Even a moderator had to get on him. He makes up lies and completely false stories and then talks down about "magazine racing" yet he spends all his time here. He earned his suspension.

The drag-strip part demonstrates power. Use the track to showcase the platform.

I'd rather the VIR Grand or Laguna Seca personally so that we have other data to guesstimate comparisons with since those two tracks have tons of performance cars that have ran them and posted numbers.

He seemed like a fun enough guy to banter with, seemed to live in reality much more so than other mustang fanboys I've encountered around here.

I’d actually like to see the same venue as the ZL1 vs GT350R H2H. Big Willow. Randy Pobst has set a lot of lap times there

1:28.40 Z/28 2015
1:28.29 SS 1LE
1:28.29 GT350R
1:26.48 ZL1 A10
1:28.28 C7 Grand Sport
1:26.16 ZL1 M6 (same car ran 1:27.90 against the GT350R)
1:25.00 C7 Z06
1:23.70 C7 ZR1
1:23.69 Ford GT

I hate it when people beat on cold/brand new engines/cars like that. But, it’s his car so go for it.

Plus all American cars are just burnout machines? Haven’t been around the domestic car scene the last 5 years?

Definitely Ford job 1 though!

Evidently they are an exotic car rental company in Vegas so couldn't care less. Someone on M6G said they recognize them.

Yah I know the company, but it still bugs me. One of the many reasons I never buy performance cars used.

Same here. Mainly because I know how hard I'm going to drive them and want to be sure they are properly broken in and maintained (just like most of us I'm sure ).

I saw that, this idiot doesn't deserve that car.

No clue about American performance cars, no clue how many gears the trans has because he didn't drive it fast enough? Such stupid logic lol. That's the first and last of this guys videos I'll watch.

I don't know how long they let it warm up but if a GT500 cant handle a burnout.....

Especially in the rain, agreed. People are saying it could be a fuel issue, which considering what a genius this guy seems to be, I wonder if he accidentally put 87 in it.

Idling doesn’t really warm a car up.
