So you can either choose an axel-back exhaust or NPP, not both. Kind of weak. I really hate the Camaro's stock suitcase mufflers though.

The air intake bit is kind of funny. That's got to be the easiest, DIY mod that will never affect your warranty to begin with. Why pay GM more?

"Customers can view many of the accessories on the new Camaro using the online Camaro Visualizer."

They really need to update the visualizer, smoked lamps have been known for quite some time now, and yet, still can't visualize it.

These parts are very nice, and Chevy is trying to get it's share of the aftermarket/accessory pie first. Personally, I wouldn't rush into any of them. If you like doing business with your dealer, fine....but it will be pricey for the convenience...

These parts are the low-hanging fruit of the aftermarket, and will all very soon have independent after-market competitors.....I would wait for those to compare price and quality....

I wonder if this performance exhaust is the same that is on the Vette that gives it it's +5hp boost. Of course the performance exhaust on the vette also includes npp dual mode features, so...

As for dealers and warranty claims, they are not the ones who would deny a claim, in fact its in the dealers interest to perform as much warranty work as they can - GM pays the dealer for all labor done under warranty.

So, unless your warranty claim is something that will obviously get denied by GM, the dealer has no reason to not perform warranty work.

I had a buddy who snapped an axle while attempting to neutral-drop burn out. The dealer replaced it under warranty, even after hearing his story, and knowing it was the his fault.

Ford Racing does something similar, as does Mopar. People jump on these thinking they're a safe bet because "It's GM and they wouldn't sell something they won't cover" when that is NOT the case.

Performance exhaust – Kits will be available late this year for Camaro SS with the LT1 V-8 and Camaro LT with the 3.6L V-6. These axle-back systems enhance the performance sound of the Camaro and offer a premium appearance. Each is a direct replacement for the factory system and maintains the vehicle’s factory warranty. The kits are not compatible with the available dual-mode exhaust system.

Mentions it specifically for the exhaust. Not sure about the others. Course exhaust system has a separate warranty from the powertrain. Also I remember Ford Racing's new tunes for the 6th gens are backed with factory warranties. Times are changing in the OEM world.

Sometimes a dealer in the US will bring up a site just to sell aftermarket parts, and in the case of Toyota, one particular dealer in Dallas always had great pricing:
http://trdparts4u.toyotaofdallas.com...ts/default.asp

Maybe Becky and her dealer can do something similar - offer the best prices and get business from all over North America. Of course, installation still has to be completed, but some of this people can and will do on their own.

Many intakes don't require a tune, so I assume GM is developing one along those lines. just my guess though. I doubt they'd do an ecu re-flash for an intake.

It's gonna look funky with red brakes on the front and black/gray on the back. The stock ones should be red if the upgrades are red.

a intake or exhaust won't void your warranty. On my old SS I had a full exhaust, 3.91 gear ratio, and intake. My dealer had no problem with any of that.

As SuperSound posted...perhaps things are changing in the OE world. The 5th Gen fiasco soured me to "GM backed" performance parts.

I'm the other way around. I think they should have gone with the stock color of the brakes they have now.

Red is played out
