I was gonna say I think you have a leak. One time my intake filter came off the intake pipe and the car sounded super cammed because it was getting too much air.

It wasn't the MSD, it was the seal between the IM and the aluminum TB seal plate. Improper install caused the TB blade to pull on the seal causing a leak.
My check engine light turned on though, but I'm going to take it with my tuner.
