I hate to beat the dead horse here, but it needs to be repeated over and over - tuning these later generation cars is not easy as many tuners think and can easily be messed up.
They operate on a very intricate torque modelling system that has numerous inputs and adjustments and if your tuner didn't modify all the interrelated tables appropriately, it could be incorrectly calculating torque and therefore cutting power. We're you able to get wheelspin with the stock tune (doing the brake torque method)? |

Working on having it tuned by someone else to get this issue resolved. If nothing else, I'll be sure to update again post-tune in case others experience my symptoms and are looking for some anecdotal experience on here. Thanks everyone for your input.

The low gloss black 20x8.5's I put on mine were surprisingly light for a mass produced cast wheel. Weighed right at 29lbs. For comparison, I weighed a stock 18x8 GTO wheel we had laying around, and it weighed 28.5 lbs!! I bet the split spokes are just as light or lighter. My car is a mod free A8, and will light em up. Actually, the open diff surprised me because a few times I left 2 marks not just one. Hopefully you get it all worked out VinceK , keep us posted!

while mine was in the shop (2016 rs m6) I was in 6 different loaners, all a8's. 4 17's and 2 18's, 3 were rs's and they would all light the tires wiyh no problem, all would get both wheels spinning also. all ranged in miles from 9 to 690, 2 months worth.

SO MUCH THIS. This is what people do not understand regarding these ECU's. They think they can take them to Jackwagon Tuning LLC because they have a DYNO. As more time passes, and more Camaros are pushed, the same old LTG problems will keep creeping up. I can't wait for the ringlands going bad, I think it might be my all time fave...

Of course the only way we'll learn what to do and not to do is by trial and error no matter how good a tuner you get the engine despite being a new age version of older engines is still new despite being in the ATS for awhile. Even ZZP plays it safe with customer cars.

Reporting back in on this - comes as no surprise that the tune was the culprit.
After ZZP's tuning the car went from 5.4-5.5 0-60s to under 5 (working on getting a good run with little slip, been driving a vehicle that essentially could not slip for so long). Beyond this, startup used to be extremely loud and a bit rough, it now starts up much more quietly and smoothly. Throttle response is far better... just a different car in general. Glad to have this corrected to say the least.
