Not sure what the best way to secure it to the center console is, but maybe if you put a couple of dots of hot glue down (on the black part of the plastic only), you should be able to peel the hot glue off when you want to remove it.
You wouldn't be able to change the modes or use the ebrake, but maybe if you cut slits where the black marks are you'd be able to flip it up and use the buttons (assuming your dog's paws aren't small enough to push down on the hinge, and then just tack down the case to the console with hot glue where the white dots are. May also need to notch out the spots where the side of the case comes into contact with the raised portions of the silver plastic on the car so it can sit flat and flush for the hot glue to stick to the case. I don't think the hot glue gets hot enough to deform any of that black plastic, and when you want to remove it you can just peel it up. |

Anyone ever come up with something?
I was thinking about looking into the wiring and maybe adding an on/off switch inline to disable each switch individually. |

I thought it was on here, but maybe it was on the Camaro subreddit, but someone designed and 3d printed a cover for the TC/mode switch that flipped up as needed...

Thanks for the link to that. My only question is has anyone used this in area where it gets hot in the summer? Wondering how it has held up.
According to Google. Theoretically a car in even in 80 degree Fahrenheit weather could approach 172 degrees Fahrenheit on the interior. Which is at 77 degrees Celsius seems to be at the higher end of the range where PLA which this is made out of will deform |

I sent an email to them for clarification. There's no way to order the cover on the page. I tend to hit the buttons often if I'm wearing a coat.

Let us know what you find out. Might be interested in one also.

I'd definitely be in for one as well. I didn't think it would be a problem but I do tend to bump those buttons more often than I'd expect.
