Majority of those explanations were rubbish.. I loved the part where someone went on about the Coyote revving higher so that gives it higher net torque for the gear.. And how you'll have to shift less in the GT350 than ZL1 because it revs higher.. Cause, you know, gearing has nothing to do with anything... Except when we're talking about net torque.

My guess it's there new drag mode with the auto. It acts more like a stall converter, and the magride in the rear keeps the rear tires placed. As they said the only way they got the below 4.0 is in drag mode with the PP package.

12.2-3 @ 112-113 is what I seen one run all night long last year in around 0 DA. Had at least a drag pack and seen him tuning it. Dead hooking. In a stock tune SS with drag pack I had him by a full half second and 4 mph. At my track a stock GT wouldn't even touch mid 12s. 100% guarantee you. I seen a gt350 last time out and it trapped 113-114 |

We do get some nice mineshaft air in the fall. Down into the negative DA. I go by real world what I see. Stock shitty 235/45/18 all seasons too. These are 3.55 A6's. Nobody is denying the SS is faster, but to say it can't get under 13 stock is just plain ****ing ignorant. |

I was disappointed in the 350 also. The scat pack ive run against here was very impressive. Very close to my times when we were modded about the same. Maybe its just the drivers or something....or maybe his tune was shit. but the drag pack mustang was an auto s550 and I seen him using a laptop in it. point and shoot dead hooking. 12.2@113 was his best run all night. This was last fall in DA of about 100. The scat pack with DR, hellcat airbox mod with filter removed and tazer ran 11.9@115. No tune. |

Because somehow the Mustang is gonna overcome a 35 crank tq deficit by the time that tq gets to the wheels. I gotta say, I really enjoy your split second creative excuses. You just keep belting out excuses for garbage like Ford keeps belting out garbage.

This reminds me when the LS3 had 30 ft pds on the 5.0, and we learned how that worked out and that there was more to the equation. In addition the E92 M3 matching the 5.0 in acceleration despite a 100 ft tq deficit. Either way i'm enjoying the competition and the SS and the GT taking turns one-upping each other yet again.
