Due to the hand-made nature of a Vacuum Infused Carbon Fiber manufacturing processes product weights can change slightly due to the specific resin saturation of any given piece. With that said... Anderson Composites Copo Style Hood AC-HD16CHCAM-CP-DS Weighs 18.8 lbs. Our Type AZ Hood weighs 15.5 lBS.

I like it, and price isn't too bad. I was going to order a 2015 hood, cut the cowl and fit to my 2016 hood. This might be a better option.
Any pics from inside, looking out??? See how much visibility is lost, Thanks.

Hey there - so this hood will not latch with the stock hood latching system? Say where it said hood pins were required.. I would hate to have to drill into that carbon fiber hood!!!

Yes, this does go on exactly how the factory one comes off, there is no additional drilling.

They say hood pins because of how lightweight it is to save their ass for insurance reasons. Using the stock latch can still cause the hood to jerk up on the edges under high speeds and CF is not Aluminum so it breaks if it's put under to much pressure in one small area. Hood Pins are always a good idea with a CF hood.
