So... bigger chips in the future? Sweet plan.

Car is at the bodyshop. I am getting it wet sanded and all panels, trim, even glass is removed. Here are the latest pictures...

If you can go from base layer metal back up with a quality paint you will be fine. Then I would add in some clear paint film once the new paint has been cleared to have wrap put on it.
How do you take a plastic bumper down to metal

Went and saw the car today. Forgot to mention that when I took the car I noticed black tape on the back of my driver seat. When I took the tape off, I was stunned to see the seat was ripped.

The bodyshop did not do the damage, they never had the car without me. Nobody has ever sat in the back seat, borrowed my car, and I have never had any packages or boxes in it. The only time the car has ever been without me around is at the dealer when I took it for an oil change and left it, and at my work, there is an onsite car wash. The same guy has always washed my cars, and don't know how this would have happened.

Anyways, to get my seat fixed will cost me $300 so I figured I would get the knee rests and arm rests also done at the same time. Only $150 more, getting them done in red leather.

Car is getting painted Monday, my ACS front splitter and side rockers arrived, decided to get antenna, side mirrors painted matte black to match spoiler and hood.

Then almost a week and a half of wet sanding polishing, and putting it back together.

Be a good time to add a heritage grill since they have the front apart.

Hope it all works out.

Other then a few dents, there was no need to replace the panels, thankfully, the stones chips only damaged the paint (and the windshield, headlights).

Very very lucky my insurance even covered the damage. I don't know what I would have done.

Why would you want the panels replaced for simple dents? Use PDR to push the dents out, do the body work and then paint them.

Car is finished. After almost a month, new windshield, new headlights, new grille, side mirrors, antenna, and hood painted matte black, ACS splitter and side rockers installed and ZL1 brake light. Car is looking better than new, paint is amazing!
