It looks like the V6 vs. V8 threads that has plagued Camaro5 has worked itself here as well with 25 pages of infinite wisdom.

Not my problem if you can't read, but somehow I don't find that surprising.
And the whole point unsurprisingly went right over your head, or maybe it just went right through it as apparently there's nothing inside. You're still comparing cars and performance numbers which from the start I said was moot, and once again your opinions are way over exaggerated. You can start with a Turbo 4 and mod it for big gains, yes - but I personally would hate the exhaust note, on top of which I do not like F.I. cars. You can add a turbo or S/C to a V6, it will cost more yes, however; you get what you pay for.. a turbo 6 will destroy a turbo 4..and mildly modded 8's as well.. The Ecoboost 4 Cyl Mustang is a nice car - but I don't like turbo 4 cyls. It may be faster..but I would still hate it, there's plenty of "fast" out there.. doesn't mean I need to be condemned to getting it from a turbo 4. I can make my V6 fast if I wanted to, pretty damn easily but I'm reserving that for my LS1. I'm done here. |

Yeah he was talking about the manual SS. The A8 is faster everybody knows that. Still wouldn't touch the automatic with a ten-foot pole but it is faster. Maybe after the V6 versus V8 stupidness is done We can move onto automatic versus manual in your sports car we can just mirror camaro5 |

But he used the weight for the A8 SS. The manual weighs 3685lbs.

That's a cool chart I was looking through your link I can't find anything on the manuals I'm wondering if they're heavier or lighter? I'm also really surprised there's only a 96 lb difference between the 4 cylinder and the V6 it really shows that the turbos do add weight. What's truly amazing is the 2015 V6 weighs more than the 2016 V8 Camaro the alpha is truly a great platform |
