Yeah Corvette is an upgrade from Camaro no matter what anyone says. Even the SS Camaro. It might have the same engines but it ends there.

Weighs less, better aerodynamics, completely different suspension, perfect weight distribution. True sports car. Camaro is a performance coupe.

And you're getting the GS! You're gonna love it. My Mom just bought a new Stingray with the Z51 package in October. That handles like it's on huge suction cups to the pavement. The GS is a step above that. Z06 without the supercharger.

Of course you took the situation rather calmly, you were going to trade it in anyway next year. However, if that happened to your soon to be purchased Corvette GS, you probably would've have reacted much much differently. Poor Camaro though.

I mean, ya I'm trading it in but its very difficult to get diminished value here. My Camaro is gonna tank is resale value for the trade in because of the accident, which wasn't my fault. I should have been freaking out over the fact my car just lost 5-7k because an idiot ran a red light. Which I may not be able to get back.

That sucks....hard to tell in the pic, did the airbags go off? If not, I doubt its a writeoff.

Airbags did not deploy and no dashcam. This time I was lucky as it was clearly the other drivers fault and I have witnesses and statements that there's no way liability will be on me. However that doesn't mean I will be so lucky next time. I will be getting a dash cam for the next time I go out in my vehicle, whether its the fixed Camaro or otherwise.
