That was my plan until I found out the RotoFab elbow won't line up correctly with the Whipple supercharger. I may have to just get it anyways and modify it all to work.

I am using 50: 50 Water and Ethanol, not meth due to the danger of chemical.

A problem is IAT is not dropped much by the injection, not sure it is due to using Ethanol instead of meth.

Btw, I can pull timing from 14~15 to 20 degree at high load. with 11~12PSI without any knocking.

You do realize that you're car carries 19 gallons of gasoline too.

Methanol is no more dangerous than handling gasoline. In an injection set up its in a 50/50 mix that's also diluted.

I wouldn't worry handling a 50/50 Water/Meth mix in your car.

Is there any way to add the nozzle to the supercharger lid? That would at least allow the vaporization of the water/meth mix to bring down the charge air temps. Just a random thought.

procharged here, alkymeth head is connected under inlet tube.

Was a bitch to put on... I'll just leave it at that. Was not happy at all with fitment but they were forthcoming about the kit not being specific for the 6gen. It works, that is all. According to everyone I trusted it is also the most consistent without leaks. Considering I haven't burnt to the ground yet, I would have to agree.

No time to fab an elbow, but my local fab shop said he'd be more than happy to put a metal elbow in stead of the procharger inlet to make it less sketchy.

I don't worry about flammability of meth.

Worrying about inhalation of meth during handling or....

and even the cap of the tank of meth has a very small holes to prevent being squeezed during injection and it make me smell the chemical in the car, I don't like it.

I added a check valve on the cap. (not a good looking , but it is hidden.)

The fear for meth at least on other cars is more around the fact that it burns invisibly, rather than is just flammable. Like it could be leaking, catch on fire right in front of you, and you have no idea until it has spread. That's the major fear I had on my last car, and on friend's cars.

I wouldn't run 100% meth on anything unless I had nice lines rather than the thin plastic most kits come with. That's just me though. Gas is definitely dangerous no doubt, just invisible flames is a freaky thought.

If it's post tb, how would that be different than the lid? I would imagine not tapping your supercharger lid would be preferred?



Cool to see a lot of guys running meth on here. I think meth is a great tool. More than one way to skin a cat, unlike some shops try to make it seem.

Post tb the air is not compressed yet. In the lid, the air is compressed and has gained heat from the compression. If you inject water/meth at this point the vaporization of the mixture will decrease the charge air temp.

The procharger intakes that have been modified with wmi achieve that and with that setup it's theoretically possible to lower the charge air temp below ambient since the wmi is after the intercooler also.
