Manual SS to zl1 converts, quick rev question

I was wondering if the auto blip/heel toe/revving action is as quick on the zl1 as it is on the SS? One of the things I love about my SS is the super quick flywheel spin up. Ive only driven an auto zl1, so I couldnt really tell, but it seemed quite a bit slower to rev up on downshifts, but maybe that was the A10 factor.
