check you tube videos of s550 test drives..you can see the driver bouncing all over the place lol.
wtf is that all about? check gen6 videos..driver smooth as silk and in comfort.
the s550 pp suspension is utter junk..made me see sick everytime i drove it..
my son said dad the camaro drove much smoother and quieter..kids never lie.
the pos had to go..hated to even look at it after 7 months of ownership..never had one thumbs up either in it..like i said in me bumble bee it happened at least 10 times a day.
i would go shopping come back to the car and there would crowds round it taking selfies.
not even one thumbs up in the mustang.
COZ IT'S AN UGLY CAR..the newer model is even uglier..when i test drove the gen6 we got 3 thumbs up in 10 minutes lol.

My personal experience with the S550 was a relatively good one. The only thing that really let me down with that car was the lack of power. I never had any issues mine. It was a fun car, handled well enough. I never experienced any tramlining or other issues while driving. Oddly enough I've had the 2SS get Squirrelly in the rain. I figure that's more of the stock Goodyear tires causing that where my S550 came with P-Zero Nero's.

we are all different..some folks have low expectations..some like me have high expectations.
no car ofc is perfect..yep the lack of power under 5000 rpm is a huge problem for sure.
listen to videos of the s550 with catbacks...they sound weak and raspy..
the coyote motor is trash at low rpm..my turbo diesel hyundai 1.6l has more low end grint lol.
again another fail by ford

The gt500 will bury the zl1 in every freakin' aspect. Probably expect for handling, but who really gives a damn about it.
The upcoming 19' camaro must get some serious visual changes, otherwise we're ucked, till the 7th gen.
P.s. Few years ago I was waiting for the 6th gen so much, who knew that they would release the ugliest camaro ever...
Am I the only one reading this shaking my head?

anyway far too many folks get touchy by all this. it's only a car.
concentrate on more important things in your life..keep your family happy and help them stay healthy.
pay off your mortgages asap..that is the biggest thrill i have ever had..the day we walked in our bank and paid the balance in full..
has made a huge difference to my life...can live a stress free life untill i die now.
it's just a car guys..no need to worked up about something so silly. just sell the mustang and get a camaro. then get on with your lives.

I don't know if I would argue that the Coyote needs to be dropped, making 460BHP and 420ft-lbs (which is more torque then I guessed) the engine isn't a bad engine. Yes it is still going to be down on torque to the Camaro and we still don't know how fast/quick the car will be compared to the Camaro. Certainly it is going to be a faster car then it was before, we don't know how fast the Mustang GT will be in base trim. We know that with the 10 speed auto and the performance package which has a drag mode the car is stated to do 0-60 in 4.0 seconds.

My prediction is that in most cases the Mustang GT will still be slower then the Mustang GT. 6 speed manual Mustang GT even with PP will lag behind the 1SS Camaro let alone the 1LE Camaro. 1SS Camaro with 8 speed auto may still be faster then the Mustang GT with 10 speed and PP as they are stating 4.0 seconds for the Mustang and the Camaro has put down a 3.9 seconds run to 60.

they rekon i'm a dumb troll on the mustang forums

how many stupid folks u ever met paid off a 200k mortgage in 10 years? i have never met one.
mustang owners and fanboys can be real touchy douchbags..personal attacks on me is pathetic..
i'm only insulting your pos cars not you personally..get a grip ffs.
dumb something i'm not..i was no good at english 40 years ago and still no good.
but far from dumb..in fact when it comes to real life i'm the sharpest mofo you will ever meet..
again paying off a mortgage in a short time takes a lot of push..ffs we parted with 60k the other day..i could have just bought a new camaro.

I feel you are getting the most worked up by your hatred of the Mustang.

Who really cares which car will be able to post a better track time 99% of either car owners will ever visit a track in a GT or SS. Being this is the case do you really think you can drive the car harder into a curve on public streets harder safely with one brand vs the other?

So stop buying into this track PR. Buy the best car for you to perform in the venue you Will use it in. Ensure that it has the comfort and appearance that you prefer. My guess is that straight line performance will be so close it will depend on the driver.

I know I wasn't the person who said it, but I'll give you two:

1) Few people actually race from a stop. One reason is because it's hardest on the power train. The other is that it's simply much more likely you'll find someone while already moving and go from a roll.

2) 0-60 times have become a near useless indicator because of the all the hyper-optimization of them by manufacturers. To the point they aren't truly indicative of anything BUT 0-60. What do I mean? Take, for example, some Porsche models. If you do them 0-60 they look great. But if you change the race to 5-60 they LOSE 1-2 full seconds getting to 60, because they can't use their hyper-optimized launch control and are actually gutless in terms of low-end torque.
