Those retards keep deleting my posts overthere..lol
I only wrote this Deleting what I wrote doesn't make it any less true. Its ok guys. You can just take the $5000 extra dollars you saved over the Camaro and mod the.... oh wait. This one costs more than the Camaro.. So what do we argue about now. I don't know. we could say that looks are subjective and the new mustang is beautiful but they might drug test us because Ray Charles can see that's not the truth. So what is our Camaro burn for this time. Um... I guess there isn't one. well don't tell those Camaro owners that. they wont ever let us live that down

This one is cheaper than that one doesn't really make a big difference to me. They're both within a few thousand of each other. I kept my previous car as a winter beater since it was only worth $10-12k (on a sunny day).
However both cars depreciate so fast that the only real savings materializes after a few years when you ask yourself: "What can I do with what I have vs. buying something new?" Anyone can tune an engine to add power, but you can't tune a chassis. Also, everyone knows that Chevy makes the real horsepower. I can't even remember the last time Ford made a big block crate engine. Personal taste also factors into it. I wasn't a huge Camaro fan all my life, but I knew one thing for certain - I didn't like the way the Mustang looked or drove. The Camaro definitely won me over after a test drive. Even with the current Chevy small block, I would gladly spend a few thousand more in parts to not have a carbon copy Mustang like everyone else.

The funny thing is they are talking shit the whole time about the price and how its way to much and that the Camaro is a better value but the don't get blocked or their comments deleted. I say, " how about the fact that its just an ugly car" and I get booted..lol

2 weeks ago, you would have been fine. They have been on high alert the past week and a half...and have sent out a shitload of warnings. I personally don't care. If you think a car is ugly....then it's ugly.

Both vehicles are impressive. I would say that it will again come down to personal preference when deciding which vehicle to purchase. Honestly, its not about which vehicle produces the most HP (which is the Camaro), or which vehicle looks the best (which is the Camaro again), or even which vehicle is more enjoyable to drive (and again the Camaro); wait what was I talking about???? oh yea, personal preference and mine is/was/will always be the Camaro.

Man...the pricing talk on MG6 takes me back. Back to days when the 5th gen Camaro pricing was released, and even more so (and recently) the 6th gen Camaro. Yeah...the prices seem kinda high...but then you get so much of this BS
(quote directly from MG6) "52k for what I would order. I will be buying a Stingray next instead" LOL. In other words, spending 52K on this car is too much, so I'm just going to spend 70K on a comparibly equipped different car b/c its always been more expensive. Its so dumb. Why not just spend the money and get the more expensive car then????? If its what you want, and can afford it, then why not?? The new Mustang and Camaro provide you with 90 - 95% of the performance and features the Vette has, but costs well under 90% of the cost. So these arguments are ridiculous. That, and those that like to say "50+ grand for a Camaro/Mustang" when lower 40s basically gets you a very nice one with most features. I will say though, that if the new Perf Pack doesn't put the Mustang equal or above the SS in terms of handling (not sure that it will, but not ruling it out...it would be quite the accomplishment as far as I'm concerned) its probably even worse since a GT Perf Pack with MagneRide costs more...I think.

I like how GM keeps it simple, 1SS or 2SS. You already get a capable chassis that will outperform the Mustang PP and compete with BMW M4 and what not. If what I hear about the Mustang Chassis is true, not sure why anyone would spend that money on a Mustang now that the price has hiked up.
Btw, was at the dealership not too long ago for an oil change and looked at some V6 Camaro models, there were no V8's. But, man, I am in love. The RS V6 I saw was so sleek and had a really premium look to it. The interior is gorgeous. Some may think the Mustang interior is superior, it is not. Go sit in both. The Mustang has cheaper feeling parts on the dash. Didn't expect the Camaro to be that luxurious and sleek looking. I would even consider a V6 now. Even the cloth 1SS trim looks good. The seats are thicker than the 5th gen and you get leather on the arm rest and door panel. Go see this cars in person if you're wanting to get a good picture of how they are. Believe me. |

They are mad about the prices because many of them won't be able to afford it now. The Mustang sold like hotcakes because it was soo cheap. Soo cheap that many people who would normally not have been able to afford one were able to scrape money and get get themselves in one. You could not do that with a Camaro tho. The Camaro offered performance on a level that dwarfed the Mustang and you had to pay that money. So naturally, the people who bought Mustangs talked shit about Camaro prices despite the huge performance gap. Now Ford is getting left in the dust and even the V6 sports cars out there are on the heels of their GTs. And the V6 sports cars will handle better, offer better options, and can be priced around the same amount. So Ford is trying to up their game which is gonna make the Mustang more expensive and people are going nuts and I find it funny!!
