Well I had my car for 2 months today. My first compliment was getting the 2nd place best of show trophy at the Rodgers Chevrolet Camaro show when it was less than 48 hours old. I get stares, rubber necking, "nice car" all the time. The other day at Walmart, an older gentleman asked if I could handle all that power... surprisingly, I got more messed with my 5th gen then I do with the 6th...

Now when I got my 5th gen, I had a couple old geezers asked me at a Camaro show where I got the money to buy the car... I blurted out, "my husband died"... I really wish I hadn't been so shocked at the question to have come up with some outlandish answer.... but they walked away feeling small anyway...

Good to see you on here Tiffany! I remember you and your car from the Rodgers show. Well earned! You might remember that we were talking about your car when Al O. and Jim K. were signing the car next to yours, so I tracked down Jim to get them back over to you.

I really like the Dodge Challenger and the Charger has grown on me too! Everyone has a Mustang out here so meh on that! They're all good looking in their own ways though.

From what I have been reading the possibility of a Barracuda is slim. Like wise the Charger/Challenger redesign has been pushed back until 2021 +/-. Save for a possible slight refresh in 2019 model year. Guessing FCA had a reason they were wanting to merge with GM last year to cover R&D costs?

Hey I remember you ... I still can't believe I got a trophy... I got another 2nd place a couple weeks later at the MiFBody show in Milford.

I'm not sure I will be at the cruise on Sat. We volunteer for the D-Man "Dreams Come True on Woodward" event on Friday (drive handicapped/brain injury/wheel-chair bound around on Woodward for the day), and it's my son's birthday (he decided to be a preemie to have his birthday dream cruise weekend every year)... but watch for me if you are out on Friday... Although I'm sure the hubby will want to go on Sat since he has to work on Friday.

If the 6th gen didn't drive the way it does, I would not be in my Camaro right now. It just wasn't the V8, but the whole package.

Anyway been nothing but compliments from the people who notice/react to it.

Well, it "happened" again yesterday. I was at the Harley Dealer looking at some stuff, and came out to the Parking Lot with a lady (around early 40's), staring at my car. As soon as I got near the car, she lite up like a Christmas tree and asked if this was my car. I said it was and she said it was the most beautiful car she had ever seen. Said she used to own a Z28 quite a few years back, and purchased a new camaro in 2014. It was an RS coupe. We talked "cars" for a good 20-30 minutes, and she finally asked if she could sit in my car and have her picture taken - said it would be like a dream come true. So I obliged and took several pics of her in the car. She could not thank me enough, and she drove away with a HUGE smile on her face..............Made me feel pretty proud f this car..........AGAIN.....

Some of this is too funny, I can not understand anyone not loving the looks of this 6th Gen version of the Camaro, then again the only time someone complimented mine , a real cute young lady, turned out to be a hooker looking for a party ? hahahaha

I was just in Glacier NP for a few days with almost 2 dozen friends. People my Wife worked with at GNP back in the late 1970's. I arrived a day before the group and my 1SS was parked at the Cabins as I was helping my wife with chores.

The first evening , THE topic of conversation was...."Whose car is that"?

Then when I came clean it was mine...."rides" were given to several of them. Many of them have never experienced a high performance car. I hate to admit many of them are in the Prius/Libtard crowd.

The reactions ,to a nice run through the gears certainly varied. From total glee, to thinking they were going to DIE. The Lib's were the most fearful. Then again from Prius to SS Camaro...A big leap.

I DO get quite a few positive comments , as Gen 6 Camaro's are not very common here in Montana. Even riding the Going to the Sun Road through GNP, lots of thumbs up's from folks as I'd drive by the scenic stop areas.

I tend to refuel at Costco. Premium is $0.30 a gallon below the next lowest price in the Detroit area. Rarely do I get thru the process without either a headnod, a kid tapping a parent and pointing at my car, or an adult asking me what Fifty means.

So this past Saturday, I go to the beach, and the first parking space I find is next to a 5th Gen post refresh V6 RS. When I was leaving, the guy runs over to talk about Camaros. He was a true enthusiast.

Today's Tuesday (three days later, mind you), and I park at work, and a guy rolls up in his huge diesel pickup, rolls down the window and asks "What exhaust do you have on that"? I tell him it's the factory dual mode exhaust. He was more than impressed. We end up talking cars for 20 minutes in the parking lot. Then, LEAVING WORK on the SAME DAY, a guy approaches me as I am nearing my car and asks, "excuse me, but is that your car"? He's a BMW guy with an M3 in the garage at home and an avid detailer, and he's in love with my car. We talk for 20 minutes because he wants to go to a road course with his M3, and heard good things about the Camaro.

So I had three people approach me in the last three days, with two being in the same day. All of them were very enthusiastic about my car.
