I chose to go with a 2.30 upper, i removed my blower separated the snout and sent the snout to vengeance racing where they installed the upper and sent me back my snout. I have rotofab cai, flex fuel sensor, 2.30 upper pulley, ported TB (waiting on it) and then I will take it to get tuned.

vengeance they are a 6 hour drive from me ( and the most expensive by far that I've called) but I feel like I will get my monies worth that way.

These blowers are simple to remove compared to the LSA setup. Myself and a extra set of hands could lower the cradle and pull the LSA blower within 1.5 hours easily.

Unfortunately no, but the blower is easy to remove, there is a a few things to be noted.

1. The IC cooling system is a closed circuit and can only be vacuum filled using a special fitting no other method will work. ( i took mine to the dealership after i put the car back together and had them bleed with distilled and water wetter)

2. You cannot re use any of the supercharger to head bolts as they are stretch bolts.( I broke one off, no one seems to want to tell you do not re use, several Z06 DIYs and shops said otherwise) The dealership should sell a "kit" for less than 200 including all new gaskets and bolts etc.

3. Make sure the surface between the snout and blower is thoroughly cleaned and you only use the AC Delco engine sealant

4. Ask the parts guy to nicely print you the SI procedures for the blower/ cover removal so that you have all torque specs.

Here is what I have spent

Pulley installed/Belt/sparkplugs/shipping to & from VR- $420
Cooling system bleed- $159
Gaskets and sealant- $149
Rotofab CAI- $506
Mamo TB- $375
DSX Flex fuel- $400
Tune- $1200

That sucks. When bleeding is there not an electric water pump that turns on when holding down the push to start button for 10 seconds? My whipple has one which allows me to connect a fixed funnel to the filler tank. The system starts and purges it of air.

On the new cars Credits are x 4 from HP tuners. That's $200 going to HP tuners. So V is only getting a $1k for tuning the car on 93 and E85 which takes double the time. That's actually cheap!

Absolutely... and HP Tuners wants double the credits $200 just to register the ECP and they don't let tuners buy the model years on these. It's car by car.
