Question to fix the sway bar issue, do you have to remove the tires even if you use a lift?

I only have a floor jack, so I have to remove the wheels. You shouldn't have to with access to a lift.

I understand there might be a TSB on this issue? Does anyone know? I'm going to try to fix mine again this afternoon after work. This makes try three...

Just curious how many miles on the car before you noticed?

Great question. I have been looking around for this answer and still can't find a number. If anyone knows it would be greatly appreciated.

Just wanted to update:

I took it to the dealer today to look at mine. Mine was starting to have a small "clunk" when it would drop the 1 inch or so from the garage.

So the mechanic at Classic Chevy in Grapevine, Tx (great dealer BTW), said the left side was a little loose, but not bad, but the rest were fine. But I could feel it and now it feels tighter. I am glad I took it in before it got worse. So GM has a record of it now in case.

I have about 2400 miles on my and one track day. Just started hearing a clunk when going over various bumps. I can also replicate the sound while driving at low speeds by turning wheel right and quickly back left. I would fix myself, but that's not the point.

I talked to the dealer about the clicking and it is just lubricant doing that and is only annoying. But he said he would look at it. I just said no for now.

But at least we don't have known problems like the GT350 with metal filings in the oil filter, overheating Tech Packs, oil coolers giving way and losing all the oil, burning lots of oil.

I feel lucky since getting rid of mine.
