Dude I talked to the driver. The tires weren't worn down that much, I personally saw the car. I saw him drive perfectly fine the whole day before the crash. Again, it has more to do with the condition of the track than anything else.

You're basing your comments on what you've read on the internet. My comments are based on what I actually witnessed.

Its unfortunate that he crashed, but sounds like he was doing ok up to that point.

One thing I've learned from tracking bikes for several years, when you get on a track with issues, just back off and enjoy the day. Pushing for better lap times on a sub par track only leads to trouble and if you are not professionally racing, no need to try and better your lap times on a bad track. I couldn't afford to wreck the bike or wreck myself.

Its Pacific Raceways and the condition of the track. Its extremely bumpy all over the place and it really isn't hard to unsettle the car there.

This is one of three cars I know of that have been totaled there within the last year. Its a shame really how the track isn't taken care of.

For those wondering, the driver is fine (although you guys seem more concerned about the car and his driving skills evidentially). For what its worth, he took the corner at the same speed earlier in the day and was killing it out there. I'm guessing it just happened to be a slightly different line this time around and that was the result.

Anyways, point is that some of you need to stop being internet a**holes and jumping to conclusions.

And before someone asks, yes I was there. I was there for whole track day.
I agree with you. PR is more dangerous than the other tracks here in PNW. It's a great layout and I like the fact that there are many elevation changes but dips and bumps and the fact that there is not enough run off area on certain turns is what makes me stay out of there :/

I wonder why it cannot be fixed by simply removing the end of the wall and/or fixing the dips/bumps etc.. I've seen water puddles on the road even after that they (supposedly ) fixed the pavement, oh well

the only reason why I shared this video is because it's publicly shared on YouTube to give you an idea of that specific turn. I am with you on that showing respect and not sharing anything without the permission of the owner It doesn't take whole a lot to show some empathy and respect for sure
