Did you do any dig racing? Roll racing is fun but not what I'd call point a to point b racing. A roll race in these 2.0Ts let's you build an insane amount of boost before slamming the throttle open.

I loved the runs though i got a Focus ST guy at work that talks up the Ford SHO even when i could slap those in my 5th Gen V6.

I couldn't find any dig races man, people were extremely picky with the races so I took them were I could. Not to mention the fact that I had a couple of people ask for a dig thinking I was in a v8 which meant they were likely in a cts v or something.

ET is irrelevant in these roll races. So yeah, he ran 11.xx, but with a 20mph-60mph head start before the line.

Gino, did you make any dig runs?

I, too, am not a fan of roll racing. Especially not at a track. The entire purpose of going to a track is to run a number.

I agree that 11 means nothing from a roll, my goal was solely to see how I stand next to other cars that should out perform me.
I will be at another event in June, I'll make sure to get a dig race.

How far are you from your nearest track? I'm going to try to hit up my 'local' track on Wednesday if I get the drag radials mounted on the SS.

I'm about 50mi. from my nearest drag track but it's open for street nights wed and fri 4 to 10 like most tracks in my area and I work 3-9:30pm mon thru fri. They do weekend test and tune days but I work 12 to 5 Saturday and Sunday right now so ya. Finding time is a pain.

Ahh, New England Dragway......grew up there, I am actually a stockholder, never, ever had to pay to go.....got so spoiled.......miss going there.

Time I've gotten in my g8 gt is a 12.61 @ 109, 1.88 60' on street tires... I could probably get it to run low 12s with some sticky tires and race wheels.

I put my catless downpipe on the Camaro yesterday, the LSD rear end is going in tomorrow. I have some ghetto drag tires being mounted on some vette gs 18x9.5 rims later this week. Taking the Camaro out to race on Sunday.

My SS is an auto. Still haven't gotten the radials mounted. Been crazy busy, as I'm sure you've been too! I went 13.40@107/8? last year with the stock Bridgestones and a 2.0ish 60'. It's now looking like it's gonna get traded in before July.

Very much looking forward to your results!
