I have the 6 piston Brembo dealer installed option on my SS, and these are the part numbers I used:

front: Power Stop Z26-1405 Z26
rear: Power Stop Z26-1718 Z26

I've had the fronts on for about a month, and installed the rears last weekend after getting the calipers powder coated red to match. There is a huge difference in dust generation.

Yes, the Z06 crowd (same calipers and pads this gen) love the Z26s primarily because they work and are cheap (about $130 for both axles.) I just couldn't put Chinese cheap pads on my American made high performance car, so I opted for the Carbotech 1521s at $440 for both axles. Both work well as do the Hawk Ceramics I had on the C6Z.

And my Z started out with black OEM wheels and the dust would turn them dusty grey in a day. Not something I could deal with.

I'm using pads designed for CCM rotors and there is almost zero brake dust. If it is a concern to you this is a fix....it just aint cheap.

Unfortunately, this is not accurate. They are different. 370 vs 390mm

The front pads are different. Rear pads are same.

SS 6-piston/SS 1LE front pads are same as ATS-V, C7 GS/Z06 w/ iron rotors
ZL1 front pads are same as current gen CTS-V
They all have the same rear pad size

Ok great, z06 brakes are the same brakes up front. Good info, that makes it easier to find pads.

Had the carbotechs on my GXP and Z06 and they still dusted like crazy so those were out. Ended up replacing them with the Power Stop Z26s for daily driver duties and kept the stock pads for when I want to get more aggressive with them. The Z26s are great daily pads for very low dust.

And yes the C7 Z06 iron pads are the same for the ZL1s.

These are great pads. I installed these a week ago and they're a great improvement for performance and low dust! Very impressed with service also!

This post really surprises me. I have over 2,000 miles on mine and the only time that I've really had brake dust build up is after a track day event. Did you burnish the brakes as outlined in the owner's manual?
