The computer holding the car back out the hole, mainly. Seems that so far that they can't break into a 1.6 60' on a stock tune.

et is what matters. Mph shows potential. I've witnessed many import cars run low 10s at almost 150 mph, yet I've seen american cars run in the 8s with similar mph. Mph is impressive but won't win you races...unless you're racing from a roll.

More octane will not change programming. And why are you comparing a modified car to stock one? Why not just do bolt ons to the ZL1 and void your warranty like the other guys have and make valid comparisons?

There isn't any "issue", these cars as well as the C7 Z06s, CTS-Vs, etc have torque management. Hell the previous generation C6s, V2s, etc had it too. It's nothing new but people keep making a big deal out of it like it is.

Reason I mentioned a fuel additive was to make sure u are working with the high octane fuel table. Some have reported pinging. Obviously if It drops back to low octane tables or KR u will feel like tq is going on. It was just a tool to rule things out.

The big deal is it actively prevents improved 60' times, even when completely "disabled".

The c7 Z06 isn't as restricted as the ZL1s, I've seen high 1.5 60' times from stock z06s. My stock 5th gen zl1 has pulled 1.65 60' times on the factory tires. It doesn't look like Chevy is letting the new Z loose until 2nd gear.

According to guys here they are the same and the Z06 is no less restrictive then the ZL1. We know they use different tires but I don't think that's the difference.
