As mentioned earlier, the MRC re-calibration will not work on a 2016.

I am in the process of installing everything but the springs on my car. In only had one track day with the stock hardware so not sure I'll be able to comment on specifics like lap times. However, there are many threads with comments about how it increases the cars ability to put power on the ground.

My driving force came from riding in a 5th Gen SS with full Z/28 suspension underneath. I was jealous.......

If that's the case, why is Chevrolet selling this as a 2016 specific kit? Mine will be the second kit my dealership has installed.

The kit can still be installed but the suspension tune can't be updated.

Just got off the phone with the dealership. That was the case with the previously released kits. The new kits no longer have that issue as it has been addressed by Chevy engineering. At least that's what I was told today.

That's kinda big news around here that GM addressed that because of 10 days ago it was an issue:

Are you just getting the sway bars? To my understanding the links are already installed with cars that have MRC.

A couple weeks after getting my 17 2SS A8 I had dealer install (about 1 month ago) I am very pleased with upgrade so far.
Any ideas on what to do with the nearly new stock stuff?

That the FE4 links are already on the MRC suspended cars is misinformation. The bushings are very different and have different part numbers stamped on them. I'm heading out to try and finish my car up now and will snap a few comparison pics.

Thank you for that information. Are you having yours programed?

Programming is part of the install. I'll have it done mid-May, I'll put up a few photos of the install if I can.

Actually I've only added the sway bars, front lower link and rear trailing arms (and a tower brace). I opted not to add the springs so re-calibration is not necessary. My spring rates are stock so compression and rebound rates haven't changed.

Here are the pics of the FE3 vs. FE4 lower links. Top pic is stock SS FE3 and bottom is 1LE/ZL1 FE4.

Just picked up my car with new (1LE) sway bars on.
I didn't believe when people said it is noticeable immediately.
Well, I just drove about 1.5 miles and I can feel the difference, before and after.
I have a track day coming up this Friday, so I'll be able to push the car harder and really see. I'm excited!

Is that a retraction of your prior post that said GM solved an issue with MRC tuning for 2016's?
