Congrats on getting into the 10s with 1900 DA with a NA car. I know you have been working for that for awhile, it will even get better if your DA cooperates. For some of us 1,900 is a normal DA, which is why I am with a SC build.

Thanks for the kind words guys. It has been a very long time coming and a lot of blood, sweat, and almost some tears. I have accomplished all of my bolt on goals. Well, all but one. I wanted to go 100mph in the 1/8. With the weather the way it is now and the way it will remain for the rest of the year, 100 as is isn't going happen. I am officially retiring from the bolt on race. Brandon is the king and I have a feeling will be wearing the crown for a while. It's gonna take someone other than me to take it from him.

I will be finishing up my heads in the next week or so and will hopefully have them on in two weeks. I will do before and after dyno results to ensure their value. I will do some after track passes as well. Then cam and blower.

I have to figure this converter out. From my 1/8mph the car was running in this weather, she is making some serious steam for sure. But barely 20mph on the top end makes no sense to me at all. This car only touches 99 in the 1/8 periodically in much better weather. Today it did it every time in crap weather. The car has always picked up at least 23mph on the back end. Three weeks ago it was picking up a consistent 27mph. I don't get it and don't know where to go from here. Even if I would have gained my normal minimum of 23-24mph on the back half that would have been solid low 10.80's The 27mph I was getting would have been in the 10.60's. I am willing to try anything at this point for my next round of mods if anyone has any ideas.

Congrats Brett! I knew you would get there. You are well on your way to your 10.5, the next NA goal to be first.

Could your problem be a sick posi?

Thanks guys.

I changed the rear fluid before the 125mph passes on the stock converter. It looked pretty good since it was the third time I had changed it in a month. I haven't checked it since the converter has gone in and the mph dropped off up top. I can't see it 60fting like it has with a bad rear. But I am out completely out of ideas so anything is possible at this point.

Looking at Dragtimes and Airdensityonline it appears the DA I quoted for my runs was about 250ft low. I was using the DA from Fayetteville that sits at 167ft vs. the Rock that sits at 426ft. Right now the Rock is reading +250ft higher than Fayetteville. So I could have been off on my reported DA. Dragtimes also has the Rock listed at 211ft of elevation which is incorrect from what I am seeing on other sites. An extra +250 over what was quoted doesn't make back much time of mph but I like to be accurate when comparing things.

I have found Dragtimes to be pretty inaccurate. A better site to use is: airdensityonline.com

It will give you DA along with real time weather conditions. Water grains is a big item many overlook.
