I don't think anyone has seen legitimate gains from a catback by itself. Maybe if its paired with headers, then perhaps.

Also, I really like the two piece design of these headers--seems like I could easily install it in my garage but, the lack of catalytic converters makes me steer clear. Glad to see they're making power, however.

I unfortunately went with the Hooker catback exhaust with plans to get the headers to match later on. After several issues with the exhaust and several months of back and forth with hooker, half of my problems have been resolved. I might still get the headers if I decide to keep the hooker exhaust instead of going with something better. Good to hear you have had good results.

So for the hookers, there is no bolt on option if the rest of the exhaust is stock?

If you bolt on a kooks/hooker, do you have to get a tune? There are no good tuners near me. Will it make power anyway on the stock map?
