With the exchange and current incentives as well as GM employee pricing my car was just over 50K + 13% tax. (delivered end of February)

May make anyone down south feel better about spending a grand more/less....
And if you can find more car for the money.. power too ya! (w/ warranty, but I dont see it anywhere...) I have a family member with a 2016 track pack GT mustang and it's fun but nowhere near the level of the 1LE, and the GT350's are still way marked up. By all my metrics these cars are essentially the best performance deal on the road at the moment.IMHO

When I was shopping for mine I was a bit taken back that most people compare it to a GT350 and M4 rather than a track pack GT. It's definitely a performance deal.

If it was a sales person arguing, then that's not indicative of everyone else that works here. I just had a customer from Florida fly here and buy a Green 1LE at our listed online price. Not sure if he's on the forums.
Did this person happen to live in the Daytona/Ormond Beach area? If so, I think I know who you mean...

I appreciate a statement like this... Welcome!

No point of comparing OTD prices as everyone pays different taxes. Can vary a lot depending on state, trade in, etc, etc...

He was military. That's all I know. He worked with another sales person.

2017 1LE

I just picked up my 2017 1LE yesterday. $37K OTD. MSRP was $46K. Seemed a reasonable deal. Nice car.

No Trade in, found the listing on the dealers Internet site asking $39K and was surprised since it was well below invoice according to TrueCar. Not even supplier pricing could match this...$37 included the taxes and tags...

That price is well below holdback, something isn't right...even with 0% sales tax. Maybe positive equity in a trade, no idea.

...and I don't see any dealer selling a SS 1LE for ten grand off sticker, when others want sticker or over sticker. But this is the InTeRnEt.

As I said before, OTD prices don't mean squat. Trade in, tax rates, registration fees, etc, etc, all vary a lot...the price of the actual car before any taxes and fees is what matters.

Traded in my 15 performance pack GT mustang for my 1LE. I can say from experience that in stock form the 1LE is just on another planet. Literally better in every single way, don't miss my mustang one bit.

Looking for a good dealer

Hey fellas,
I've been lurking for the last 2 months and I'm trying to find a decent deal on a 1LE. I've contacted almost a dozen dealers who post one price with a handful of rebates and then provide a much higher "VIP Price" for me. I'm in AZ and I'm willing to travel for a good price 39K is my goal. Koons has a good price but doesn't include $699 processing fee and $995 destination.
Anybody had any luck with a good dealer? My lowest OTD price so far was Landers at 41,500.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks again for all the good info.

I'm with SS1le on this. You can't ask for or compare OTD prices. Negotiate the pre tax and fees price from different dealers then subtract trade (if applicable) and add taxes and fees. This prices can be extremely different based on tax due to trade value. If you obtain a pre tax, trade fee price you then can negotiate trade value. This $39k OTD stuff has a lot people dreaming and it doesn't help dealers advertise awesome prices that people won't qualify for. Just another way to get you in the door. I'm sure there are great deals out there. When I was looking my options were limited and every dealer I spoke to wanted sticker minus incentives. The one place that did deal I bought from. Was well below sticker but certainly NOT $39k OTD. I had no trade either though so my tax was based on the asking price. Deals are out there but I'm starting to wonder if dealers are starting to get a little more stingy now that the weather is changing. I could be wrong though. And the other thing, especially around here there aren't any for sale at all. This in this Pittsburgh area and there are only 13 in a 200 mile radius and the closest of those is 120 miles. I say, get it if you can at the best price you can. And don't compare others OTD to yours cause circumstances could be different.
