No need to reset anything just turn the car off and restart it after 10-15 mins it'll be back. Just a bug in the software I guess.

My friend had this problem with his 2016, after he got the MyLink update the issue went away.

I had mine updated as well and it came back. It's impossible to predict when it will happen so I don't even look for it anymore. I keep it on stealth and run an aftermarket control to open it up or close it down 100% of the time by pushing a button that doesn't disappear on me lol.

Only happens to me when use the remote start, usually comes back to normal when I use push start

Just like a computer it has to be rebooted. Just hope a reboot will never be needed at 75mph going down the highway.
