Also, the borla system is behind the cats but they offer another pipe called "adapter pipes" that delete the 2nd cat. The catback system in itself does not.

I have the Borla system. There are no adapter pipes, only a different version of the Xpipe. The secondary cat delete midpipe bolts right to the factory manifolds after the primary cats.

Catback is a very loose definition so if you want to get technical fine. But your definition did not answer the OP's question properly. You only repeated what you've read on the internet.

If I can avoid having to pay for the portion of their exhaust with the AFM valves that's what I would like to do. Currently I have a botched second cat delete and I'm just trying to replace what makes sense. If I can get by with the factory mid pipe or most of it that would be fine. Hopefully this makes sense haha. I'm open to other options as well.
I plan on using the Borla 60606 with my OEM NPP muffler. However, to do so, I believe we'll need two of these style clamps to make it work.

And an added perk... when you delete 2nd cats its defined as a "RACE ONLY".... havent had to run inspection on mine yet but i feel like its going to cost a few extra bucks

Ok smart guy...if you actually knew how our exhaust system works you would know that those adapter pipes delete the primary cats. The mid pipe option 60606 which is designed to turn an axleback system into a catbacks system deletes the secondary cats.

Hooker makes catbacks that delete the secondary cats as well. You just can't win...you a WRONG. Just admit it.

You will not find a catback without adding pipes that deletes cats.
Wrong again captain catback... they make test pipes that delete the primary cats. The secondary delete is picture below. You can clearly see it's one piece and that the ends bolt up to the primary cats. Seriously...what's the deal with people spreading misinformation...
