Not gonna make this one simply don't have the funds with all the CamaroFest 7 planning and all the mods I keep buying and wedding etc. Wish I could though as it is CamaroFest was something she let me do because of how much I was bummed when I had to cancel going to the last one.

The non-prepped surface makes wheelspin easy. My suggestion is, don't be too aggressive off the line, but a little wheelspin is alright. Elapsed time means nothing, so as long as you get up to speed, you'll be fine.

Skipped out on the car show portion, but those tickets can be bought at the gate (and drivers cars are on 'display' before each run anyways)

Can't wait to meet you there! Hope I can close to your speed stock with the extra weight and no intake (l'm going bone stock for baseline runs)
That's great! Glad to hear you're making it out! You live kind of close to Smith Falls right? Any suggestions on a place to stay for the weekend? I'm looking at airbnbs in the area and there's are a lot of them

I've never stayed in any of the local bed and breakfasts in the area... My recommendation would be the Best Western in Perth ON (same town I live in). Building is only a few years old with classey rooms over looking the gorgeous Stewart Park/ Tay river (you walk out the building and into the park).

At that point you're a 2-3 minute walk to a 1/2 dozen really nice restaurants (and a bunch of greasy spoon type places) as well as historic down town Perth and everything it offers. The runway is a 15-20 minute drive (just up the highway)

Nice trap speed! I am going to be hoping I trap 180km/h in the half mile. That is based on checking out the times on the site for last years cars. I have a feeling we might be on the slower side of the cars in this event but that's what I expect running against multiple 700+hp cars.

Last year there was a 2000hp Lambo that ran over 320km/h in the half mile!

Nice, if I can hit anything close to a 120mph stock I'll leave a happy camper!

I would guess well into the 130mph range minimum. Alot of us can hit 100+ in the quarter fairly easily.

I was thinking the same thing with being 100mph + in the 1/4 but looking at what others accomplished with much more powerful car made me second guess...

I am aiming low so I can be happy
