Nice Times. You are soooo close. There is still plenty of time for a good DA. Keep at it. Sick MPH. With your porting and E85 I hope to see over 120.

Nice job PRAY. That car is moving out! I better start working on my junk this week if I'm going to beat you to the 10's! Haha

Wow you have worked some magic on your setup no doubt congrats on the times.

I wonder what kind of gains I would be looking at with your ported TB/IM on a boosted setup?

Thanks guys, I appreciate the kind words.

Daniel, you have the converter, you will get there first. That is all that is holding me back right now. I just can't seem to get this car to 1/8 mile any more. I may just go to an 1/8 track and just work on that for a day.

Frax, you should be well over 120 with any DA around 0. You should actually trap much higher than I am.

Rage, I believe that porting does help a boosted car at the same boost level. The throttle response is improved no matter what with a ported TB. There are a bunch of F/I guys on here that will disagree with me. You can always increase boost. In my mind, the better motor build you do the less boost you have to run. More air in, more out with out increasing the boost level. I am not sure anyone will argue with that.

Atco is planning to be open tonight. (Maybe) We will see what I can do with my new porting. My best MPH is 118.5 so far with only a few runs since the mods last year. I have not added E85 yet.

As for SS M6es, 4th tops out at 143, so to me shorter tire is better. My current NT555R 305-35-20 is 27.75 inches @ 32 pounds. The 5th gen 1LE with the exact same trans gearing as the current SS M6 had a 3.91 gear which tops out in 4th @ 138 with the same height tire. When I switched over to a 3.73 ZL1 diff the car felt a little stuck in molasses. 4.10s for the M6 please.

I can definitely see the logic in that ... well it looks like I have a few more items to add to the list when my next round of upgrades occur .

It will dip into the 40s and humidity 40-50%. Also there is a track rental today so there will be some rubber already down. Hopingfor a new PB.

Dang, wish I had a trailer. It might be worth a road trip. Atco in 40* weather is going to be awesome. You will probably see -500 to -1,000 by the end of the night. Then the fact that the track is only 1,000ft, faces South and is down hill.
