Any chance we can get a recording in the interior to hear what it sounds like? I want to upgrade my exhaust but I'm nervous about the dreaded drone everyone has brought up and I don't like how Borla sounds as much as the Magnaflow and Flowmaster.

Beware of the Magnaflow! I had it on my car and the drone was horrible, I hated it. Took it off after a week and didn't want to risk any other system so I went straight with Borla.

If the Borla is not deep enough for you I'd consider the Flowmaster or SW, they drone but to some people it's tolerable.

Really wish I could here these clips in person I'm sure the videos don't do the cars justice. I don't think I would mind some drone but its so hard to make decisions based on videos. anyone in central Cali with flowmasters willing to let me go on a test drive

Try your local forum and maybe hit up a cars and coffee or similar meet up, you'll find some Camaros with exhausts. I would ask for someone to give me a ride, you wanna hear the exhaust from inside because they all sound great on the outside, but you won't know how bad drone is until you drive it!

I wasn't as fortunate because there is no car scene in my area and I bought mine last summer and think I was the only one in my county with an SS let alone an aftermarket exhaust so I made the unfortunate mistake of using sound clips to chose an exhaust not even thinking that drone would be an issue, especially when you are spending over $2200 on a catback.

Your car sounds awesome! If I change my npp exhaust that's the sound I would be after. Is the axle back system the only exhaust upgrade you have? Is the stealth and tour as quiet as the factory npp in track or quieter? I love having the stealth mode because I usually leave for work really early. Once I'm out of the neiborhood I put it track. Does the car feel stronger in the power? I was thinking headers and keeping npp, but this has my interest. Thanks!

Thank you very much! Yes only axle back nothing else. I think it's around the same as stock npp on track but since the flowmaster on track is so much louder, stealth mode will seem much quieter. I definitely feels powerful but it might just be because it sounds so much meaner. I will say this though, you'll find yourself WOT-ing a whole lot more Here's a quick video I forgot to upload. Some revs in track mode with Flowmaster

Enjoy

Finally got mine on! Sounds amazing, pretty much just like Jdelgado92 vids. It's definitely louder in all modes but not at all obnoxious. Install was smooth (assuming you have two people) and the fitment is perfect.

The only downside is Flowmaster's completely unacceptable packaging. I had to return the first set because the tips were bent/scratched up. The next set was also damaged but it's not really visible once installed so I decided to live with it.

I took pictures of everything and also have some before and after videos. I'll post them up in the next day or two.

What's your opinion on the drone? The more opinions the better!

I really don't think the drone is bad at all and to be honest I'm not even sure I'd call it drone. I guess it depends on how sensitive someone is to it.

It's not silent when cruising at 60-80 mph, but it's still fairly quiet. I took a 5 hour trip with it on Sunday and left it in Sport mode. I made phone calls, listened to the radio, and I could have easily held a conversation with a passenger.
