Don't want to start another internet panic

I have a rotational clacking sound from my front end, either side (one at a time), when turning sharply, seems to come from the outside radius side. I can hear it in a parking garage with windows down.

Don't have any objects in the tires. Don't hear any wheel bearing type noises when driving. Car drives great.

Anyone else notice this? Are my wheels going to fall off?

Rant begins: Dealer can't figure out how to fix the bubbled hood wrap or the rattling exhaust (even after I sent them the TSB). Chevy dealers suck. Completely suck. So before I go through the extended efforts to "work" with their level of service I thought I'd ask here if anyone had heard this noise before. End rant.

I can't speak on the other two issues you're mentioning, but my hood wrap has bubbling too and it's been a royal pain getting it replaced from the dealer. They are going to take care of it, bit it's been taking a little over a month now and at times I keep thinking they're just giving me the run around. I've finally made it to the point where I can make an appointment this week to get it re wrapped by a certified 3M shop that works with GM.

I think there was another string about the noise. I think the fix was to take the rim off and clean the good off of hub and rear side of the rim and reinstall.

For the vinyl, take a sharp blade and pierce it laterally from the side and push the air out towards the slit with a credit card.

Mine does the sound as well, so do a lot of other Camaro's. Seems the fix is to simply take the wheel off and clean around the hub. I have yet to do it though.

Interesting. I'm going to coat my wheels in May, will try that then. Honestly can't see any correlation to that, though. Actually that makes no sense at all.

I remember a thread where a guy heard the noise and his wheel weights were rubbing when he had the wheel turned in a good bit.

I believe this is the TSB you are looking for. Same issue with both Camaro 16-17 and Corvette 14-17.

Very important to torque to 140 ft/lbs. not over and not under. Personally I don't think the cleaning part of the sb does anything but I know from experience the torque definitely does. Not sure why but it makes it go away. Oh and do all four wheels. If you have a torque wrench it isn't necessary to wait for dealer to do it. Just torque and noise will go away.

It's the two-piece rotors, and yea, easily fixed by taking the wheel off and torquing it back down evenly.
