I guess I've become fickle. I bought a 2013 1LE and thought I was good for life. But, you make a little cash, you see Chevy up their game nearly every year and.... In the end, life is too short to drive a boring car. Why not live while can and have some fun!

I have my first car still in the garage along with many of its later friends so I'm fairly certain I'll die with this one sitting in storage with my heirs getting it.

Keeping mine for a long time..... with it being a "Fifty" and other cool personal factors......
Doesn't mean I won't add to the corral though...... Insurance came in at $123/mo.... normal full coverage.... MI is not fault and expensive.... |

I'm going to lease it for four years, drive the wheels off it and give it back! I never keep anything for long. With the lease I don't pay personal property tax or sales tax in my area and I'll know what I'll loose during ownership for sure.

Kid's Cars
So my plan with the ZL1 and Hellcat is to keep them and let each of my kids have one. My son who is 4 would get first pick over the 4 month old daughter, but I think it would be pretty cool for each of them to have a car they went to car shows and drives on throughout childhood, so that is my intention. The 911 is the disposable car, in fact I already am seriously considering an R8 Plus in its place, but the muscle cars stay. The first car I bought new off the lot was a 1993 Z/28 M6, so the ZL1 has a special attachment.

I remember thinking back on how I was going to keep my old '03 Cobra forever, that it was one of my 'dream cars'... oh to be so naive.. The fondness eventually wears off on any new car. I ended up trading my '03 Cobra straight up for my '11 Sonata! LOL

My first car was a yellow chevette. Didn't go into storage, but the floor pan did rust out to make it a fred flinstone car. Wouldn't do that to my heirs.
