Wow, sounds awesome. How would you rate the increase in volume over stock?

Flows are great if you're not running cat deletes. I remember my mustang with flows + cat delete had a very weird rasp to them. Ultimately the straight through style borla stingers sounded better in the end.

Saw the video on IG, sounds absolutely sick! I love the way it sounds over my Borla. I can't complain though because there is the trade off with the Borla having no drone.

Just from hearing the pitch and tone, yours sounds like it would drone a little but if you aren't daily driving or going on long road trips it's not bad at all, and even if you are it's not terrible like the Magnaflow.

Does it quiet down at all with the NPP?

Thanks guys I'm very happy with them Everyone tells me they hear me coming a mile away amd You can defintely tell the difference in tour mode from track. I'll try to get a video on that. I'm starting to get that itch for new x pipes though Quick question on that... do I have to mess with the secondary cats at all if I were to get a new x pipe? I'm not trying to throw a code or void my warranty

First off, wow that set up is loud, completely forgot that was just axle backs haha, it sounds like it's already got mid pipes!

No, you don't necessarily have to delete your secondary cats if you want an aftermarket mid-pipe (not that a secondary cat delete should cause any codes because the secondary cat is monitored).

I know that Borla sells the mid pipe with a high flow x-pipe and you can get it with or without the AFM valve and with or without a secondary cat delete. The kit that does not have the secondary cat delete goes from the axle back all the way up to about 3-4" away from the secondary cats. Their mid pipe is designed to specifically fit to their axle back without any custom exhaust work, that may not apply when coupled to another brand exhaust. The company that may have a custom fitment for your set up would most likely be flow master.

What pipe diameter is your axle back? 2.75" like the stock pipe?

Nope, there are x-pipe kits that do delete the secondary cats, but you don't have to. there are some that leave the cats intact. you local muffler shop can hook you up with a custom one, they're fairly simple, or you can always get an aftermarket brand x-pipe. just make sure that you get a real x-pipe, not another stamped one like the stock one or the magnaflow one.

That's true, at this point custom is prob cheapest, if they can do it all for under $500 I'd just do that, otherwise it might be cheaper to go off the shelf. The shop should be able to get you the true x-pipe in the right size if they are going to build the mid-pipe, just have them go all the way up to about 3" away from the secondary cats.

well after reading a lot of reviews, and always having flowmaster on my trucks. I pulled the trigger on the flowmaster npp, x pipe, and the borla second cat delete kit.

I'm assuming it should be pretty loud after listening to the axle back videos. ill post a vid when build is done

Ohhhhhh okay. You should do the axle back and x pipe first so I can hear how it sounds and then you can go ahead and do the cat delete lol

Assuming everything goes according to plan, I'll have mine installed on Saturday. I'll be sure to post up some before and after vids.
