Also now made available in Typhoon. 69-4523TP. Installation video as well, even though it claims 2012 3.6L.

The difference to me, one is a High-Density Polyethylene tube(Black)the other is mandrel-bent aluminum tube(Shiny).

I think they are the same, just some folks like the shiny look versus the all black. If I'm wrong I am sure someone will add more details later.

I would imagine that the aluminum would get hot and not put cool air into the engine and the plastic one would stay cooler because plastic doesn't retain heat like the aluminum one, and put cooler air into the engine because the intake tube is a lower temp..

They are different intake models. One is the Typhoon air intake, the other is the AirCharger. Funtionality wise what is the difference? Who knows. Pretty much just a looks preference at this point probably.

Ordered this cai today, will carbon fiber hydrodip the intake tube and filter shield then install. I'll post up pics when done
