It wipes right off leather when wet. I wiped about every 10 stitches or so. And it doesnt show up on black leather much. The gray would probably be another story!

You need to see the fine point to see how easy this is. The ultrafine point allows you to touch the thread and nothing else, to a great degree. No worries.
