UPDATE:

They wont do an airbag delete harness for liability reasons ( car electronics....) but will point you in the right direction for some simple resistors that will be effective...

Fair enough. Get them to spill the beans and pass on the info here.

Seat belt anchor points?

I'm hoping someone can help me with checking what the lower seatbelt on the door side of the seat is attached to...

Is it attached to the floor or attached to the seat?

From pictures it seems to loop thru the seat but beyond that I can not tell...

Essentially I want to ensure that if I take out the seats... the OEM 3 point will still be available to use with my Cobra Suzuka's until such time a cage and full harness system can be implemented...

Pretensioner attached to rail. The buckle is attached to the side of the rail.

Why would you use factory style 3-point belts with a seat that's designed to use a 5/6 point harness? The setup needs to remain a system and individual components are not designed for, or intended to be used with other systems.

Myself personally and I am sure others, do not want to strap into a 5 point just to drive to work or pick up a pack of smokes.

THANKS MUCH SNOWBLIND!

UPDATE:

Custom version of Suzuka Pro Kevlar GT Seats ordered with custom color stitching, emblems and Outlast heat regulating material direct from the Cobra factory via GSM Performance...

Even got an extra set of the large thick cushions on top of the standard mediums for sake of comfort / track days and seat adjustability.

Anyone interested in getting British seats should seriously consider ordering from them with the exchange rate now being so favourable... post Brexit....

It s almost 2-for-1 compared to ordering from US....

In regards to a 5 point.... this will come eventually but there isn't a full roll cage out yet and the harness bar that's currently available is so big you might as well wait for one since it be about 20% bigger...

Shipping costs an arm and a leg.... they wanted $475.... in my case I'll be flying to Heathrow for work and strapping them into the extra flight crew rest quarters bunk ..... :3
