What's happening up top? Is that some kind of auxiliary fuel setup?

Some suggestions:

You should mention whether the baseline tune file is included in this introductory price.

Also your personal car has a supplemental fuel system (meth injection), so a prospective buyer would probably want to know if the $5500 kit will be set to run within the limits of the stock fuel system as delivered.

The two dyno charts above show the kit at 5lbs of boost 500hp 520trq and the kit at 8lbs of boost both dynos were accomplished within the limits of the stock fueling system.

The 10.79 et and 136.97mph were with meth injection for additional fueling however for longevity of that kit i can't recommend this. I would stick with 550whp zone as that has proven to be safe within the limits of the stock fueling.

We do maintain our tune which was tuned with hp tuners and anyone who would like to use it we can email it to you. I really only suggest sticking with the 5lbs until you get a wideband in the car at bare minimum.

More power can be had with better fueling capacity but be aware that the stock engine internals were never designed to push big hp and we cant be held responsible for a boost happy candidate.

The intercooler is included at that price. If someone opts out of the intercooler (5/6lbs that is ok) then you can subtract $900 from that price

Yes, it does include a very large IC, check out his website.

Goertz,
I think it would help to sale your kit if we knew more about how it drives and how large is the turbo lag, may be somebody could drive your car and post a honest opinion?

I'm sure it would highly depend on my cam specs, but I'm cam/heads/FBO already. How do you think this turbo would work on top of it? Would also be highly interested in a video showcase when the car is back together.

The car is my daily, so drive-ability in city traffic (Dallas) is very important to me, as well as track and street performance. Long trips are also a possibility.

I'll say with the stock cam (and I've noticed this on blower cars as well) that trq drops off hard right at 5500rpm, this ends up with a dyno that virtually always has hp and trq being relatively equal to each other. With the right cam this top end will pickup dramatically.

My engine has been 100% bone stock.

When car goes back together though we will have new fueling system and at bare minumum some pistons and rods in there so that we can push the envelope and max out this turbo. The S475 is rated at 105lb of air or 1050hp so figure with powertrain loss around 850whp capable.

As I have talked to other people is lag is more of a concern and you want a killer road course/street car then I would suggest going to a Borg Warner T4 1.0ar S366. This turbo is rated at 800-850hp so with powertrain loss it would be able to make around 700whp at tip tops. This is right on the ragged edge of what stock engine internals can handle and it is also more than stock fueling can handle (however lt4 pump/injectors and zl1 lift pump can put out 700whp of e85 as Jannetty has proven http://www.camaro6.com/forums/showthread.php?t=481614 ) or you could look into our alternative fueling approach that is soon to come.

The smaller turbo would likely set full boost around the 2500rpm zone which would be insane. With our s475 96mm turbine 1.32 we see full boost at 3500rpm and it is perfect for driving and very fun especially with the ability to put out high 800 to low 900 whp which should be good for a bottom 9 second car.

As I have also spoken once before there are many different turbo options. I'm just striving to give the best bang for the buck. Obviously the technologies that we have incorporated (spool valve, proper pipe sizing, etc) can be used on a much better turbo such as a billet ball bearing precision in which case a large 75mm turbo capable of 900whp would likely also hit full boost around 2500rpm zone. The thing is the borg warner turbos can generally be had for $725-800 range while you will be spending upwards of $2000+ for a nice ball bearing garrett/precision.

We are just striving to make the cheaper turbo perform at a level as the top end turbo thus making a all around better $/hp ratio while keeping a nice powerband. If you want it all though feel free to message me and I can help pick the perfect combo to get you to whatever your goal is.
