Well lets get to what we know already. The car will be offered with an option for atleast a 200-lb weight reduction. The car will be offered with 315 series NT05R DRs in the rear. If there is no power bump at all which is unlikely, it is already a mid 10s car right off of the lot and it won't need perfect strip conditions, perfect weather conditions, and hidden mods to do it.

If you think about most track reviews for the Hellcat it is that the car simply over powers the present 275s even at part throttle. Swapping to a full set of 315s in a more aggressive compount such as an NT05 along with a weight loss would go a long way in solving this issue.

They are making a widebody option for the regular Hellcat that will be aimed at the road course. 305/35R20s all around and upgraded suspension.

What I saw had NT05R's at the rear and something else at the front. I know they were NT05R's due to the tread design. Also, whatever the car was, Demon or not, it did NOT have 18's. They were 19's or 20's for sure.

The Demon has 18s. You mean a test mule you saw? That could be the widebody Hellcat I just referred to.

So obviously if they are working on another version besides the Demon, where's all the hype from Dodge on that one? Must still be in very early testing then.

It will make it a possible mid tens car in good conditions. But this car is going to be 800+ hp. So who cares The 200 lbs is an option? That's weird too. |

I think there will be several options available for this Demon, including a dragpack of some sort. If Dodge's only intention was for this car to be strictly a drag/street race purpose vehicle they would not equip it with 315s out front. Maybe some version of a TA Demon is also in the works with upgraded brakes and suspension.

They could probably just use Hellcat T/A or Hellcat Comp T/A.
