What is the name of that builder that makes the ludicrous sick Mustangs with the wide body kits where the fenders are not tacked on with rivets etc...that's how they should do the Demon. Wish I could remember the name.

I recognize that burnout pattern left on the ground in the video. Definitely some derivative of the Nitto NT05 model tire. Almost assuredly the R model DR.

Wonder if they worked with Nitto to develop a completely new tire. Could be something with a little stronger sidewall to be safer but have more traction for the strip than a performance street tire.

It is specific as it has a Demon logo on the sidewall.

I've seen two reasonably good guesses:
Supercharger Displacement: 2.576 liter Boost: 35 (inHg) which is about 17.1 psi Given the "#" and "@" symbols on the plate and 3,500 RPM being a reasonable RPM for peak torque, I prefer this theory: 2576 ft lbs of torque (#) to the wheels @ 3,500 RPM when you adjust for the gear ratio (assuming 3.7 here): 2576 / 3.7 (gear ratio) = 696 ft lbs to the wheels Last edited by travislambert; 01-27-2017 at 06:04 PM. Reason: Fixed unit on supercharger displacement |

Only reason for a DR on the front would be awd.
But its not. Odd. The article mentions having them for spares for the rear. but they will be worn out in no time with daily driving even on the front. lol...not getting it |

And no source for that info and they definitely did not get that from the video. Smells like BS to me. When articles don't list where they get their info from, it reminds me how all of the auto media insisted there would be no turbo 4 Camaro in the 6th gen. We see how that turned out. Also no mention of why the tires carry a Demon logo if they are off the shelf NT05Rs (which is far from a slick I hate to inform them). There are stickier DRs out there too.

The logo looks photoshopped. It's blurry. Zoom in gets even more obvious compared to the tire around it.
Color is off too. |

315s on the front of a straight line car make no sense.
Edit: Maybe the wheels are the same size and offset so you can rotate them.
