Magnaflow exhaust install

What's up everybody! Just installed magnaflow exhausts on my Camaro today. Still getting used to the louder sound from inside the car. But overall I'm pretty happy with the modification.

What do y'all think?

Congrats on the new exhaust

It's nice to see after someone gets a new feature added to their toy, they post pics and videos of their ride. It's not that difficult to post a sound clip, so for that sir, I thank you for posting a clip.

Question tho, did the exhaust come like that? The finish and the really bad looking weld from the muffler to the exhaust tips? Just doesn't look like Magnaflow's work....just curious. I'm not hating on your stuff.

No, I took it to a muffler shop. It was only a magnaflow product, not installed by magnaflow employees though. I figured it's all under the car so I didn't really care if the welds look pretty. As long as there are no leaks, I'm all good.

Those are not the Magnaflow tips. Those are the stock tips welded on right?

All he did was have the magnaflow muffler welded in guys it's not the 2.0 Axle-back so yes those are the OE tips re-welded on. Sounds good still much better then the stock unit but not to loud like mine although I like loud.

That's exactly what I did! Good eye. I like the way it came out. Plus I saved some money by only using the Magnaflow exhaust they had in stock. And I like the OE tips so I requested to just keep them on the exhaust system. What does your car sound like? Do you have any videos? Im curious to hear it.

Magnaflow/Borla both use fiberglass packing so it tends to break down with exhaust heat as time goes on. You'll get a more deeper/slightly louder/less raspy sound.

Good call OP on reusing the OEM tips. I plan to do the same as well, seeing that they're pretty nice from the factory, and dual walled tips typically go for $50+ a piece.

Surprisingly quieter than I expected (not a bad thing imho) Do you plan on doing any drive-by/in-car videos? I tend to find that exhausts sound better under load rather than open revs.
