I saw a Red colored with Black rally stripes Camaro 2LT 3.6L, and I really loved it. As it is 2016 car, they are having a sale going on for that as well.
But, the problem is one of my friends is discouraging me to get Camaro in this winter and telling to go for a sedan, which is likely a Kia Optima.

Can someone please suggest me a good option?
And also, my main concern is, guys, can you please tell me is it hard to maintain Camaro, or is there a lot of maintenance to it? And also the fuel efficiency. Thank you very much for all of yours reply and really appreciate it. Cheers.

I would never buy are car from a country that sanctions raising puppies for dog meat served in restaurants.

I have had a 2004 Mazda 6 a 2013 Ford fusion a 2014 Chrysler 200.. 2010 Mazdaspeed 3 and currently own a 2016 mazda MX 5 and now the 2017 Camaro SS. The best family car was the first fusion. The best sports car is the camaro the best handling is the mx5 hands down. Kids are good but if you want a decent car with great options then look into the new Elantra trubo sport. It sounds like you want sensible and a little fun. Otherwise get a Camaro and grin all day like I do when you mash the gas.

I actually own both cars. Optima SXL and of course the Camaro SS.
The Kia is actually an amazing car. Zero issues, lots of bang for your buck. I really do like the car. I recommend it. People who say they wouldn't be caught dead in a Kia is IMHO a very ignorant response. If you have extra money to blow, sure buy a BMW or what have you. But don't discount a car because of the perception of its name.

With that said, I own both because they're two different animals that serve two different purposes. The camaro is my pride and joy, it's the fun sunny day driver. The Kia does all the long and bad weather drives. And also it can be loaded up with groceries and your dog (or kids) and handle it all.

If I was single, I'd definitely buy the camaro hands down. If I had the means, I'd get a run down beater car to use for all else.

I'd vote for the Kia simply bc the new Optimas are super reliable and the Camaro is just the opposite. In fact the build "quality" is laughable. I'd take an SX-L turbo over V6 Camaro in a heartbeat.

I've had two Camaro's a 2011 and now a 2017 both of which were 2LT's, RS and driven both through the winter and they are great.

Your car looks awesome, drive it all year round and enjoy.

These are two diff cars. But it very ntetesting what's happening in the Kia market segment. Other mfrs are nervous about the Koreans....
Why?
1. Their stuff is reliable
2. Their warranties are better and they buy everything if customer demands....
3. Their product cycle is shorter than others....

One industry exec told me this summer that the Koreans are like the Japanese in the 80's: they are HUNGRY for market share....

I like Kia now for the most part. They have some nice looking cars.

...and soon the Stinger will be here. I have to say...I really do like this car.
